First, determine the theme.
I choose yoga as the theme of this series. I always wanted to practice the human body at first, but I didn't know where to start. I accidentally saw many friends who love sports in the circle of friends, and posted good morning fitness pictures every morning. One by one graceful figure is particularly charming. So as long as I see good pictures, I will save them. At that time, I didn't know I was going to paint this series, just because I love beautiful things.
Second, find a reference map.
When I decided to create with yoga as the theme, I found that my picture reserve was insufficient 12, so I searched around the Internet and finally found 12 pictures that satisfied me. Search websites: Bing, Baidu, Pinterest, etc.
Third, draw a draft outline
This step is drawn according to the bone structure-filling the meat-putting on clothes after finding the picture.
Fourth, think about composition.
After painting the main characters, I began to consider the scene, and I felt dissatisfied with several designs. It's too difficult for me to draw them. Just at this time, I saw someone sharing in Weibo: inspired by the great creative way of painting small objects, I can try boldly without sticking to the inherent form. So I decided on the composition of vases, cups and people.
Fifth, find a color reference.
This part has been tangled for a long time, and there are many favorite color matching series. How to make a choice? Because I want to show warm colors, warm colors and bright colors in the picture, I finally chose the color matching of my favorite illustrator's works as a reference, but later I also adjusted it.
Sixth, draw the first picture.
According to the previous steps, I drew the first picture, and I can find that my color is obviously darker than the reference picture. This is because in the post-processing, I accidentally tried the effect made by a brush, but found that it was better than the original color, so I later had a different color scheme. Try more and there will always be new surprises!
