First, stand.
Tai Ji Chuan's basic standing posture is the starting posture of shaking hands. It is required that your feet should be shoulder width apart, your knees should be slightly bent, your body should be upright, your head should be slightly raised, your arms should naturally hang down at your sides, and your palms should be inward.
Second, raise your hand.
Lift the palm of your right hand up, slowly forward, push the palm of your left hand down, and slowly backward. When the right hand is raised to shoulder height, the left hand forms a straight line with the body, and the right hand forms a certain angle with the left hand, as shown in figure 1.
Third, stop.
Right palm down, slowly forward, left palm up, slowly retract. When the right hand is lowered to be parallel to the body, the left hand forms a straight line with the body, and the right hand forms a certain angle with the left hand, as shown in Figure 2.
Fourth, raise your hand again.
The palm of your left hand is up, slowly lift it forward, the palm of your right hand is down, and slowly push it back. When the left hand is raised to shoulder height, the right hand forms a straight line with the body, and the left hand forms a certain angle with the right hand, as shown in Figure 3.
Fifth, stop.
Palm of left hand down, slowly forward, palm of right hand up, slowly retract. When the left hand is lowered to be parallel to the body, the right hand is in a straight line with the body shape, and the left hand is at a certain angle with the right hand, as shown in Figure 4.
Sixth, the center of gravity shifts
As the hands shake up and down, the center of gravity of the body will also shift. When the right hand is raised, the body center of gravity moves to the left; When the left hand is raised, the body center of gravity moves to the right.
Seven, matters needing attention
Pay attention to the following points when practicing double shaking hands:
Shake your hands up and down slowly and steadily, not too fast and not too fast.
Body movements should be coordinated with arm movements, and the center of gravity should not be shifted too much.
Put your head in the middle, don't shake it from side to side.
Breathe naturally, don't push too hard or hold your breath.
Keep your body soft and don't push too hard or stiff.
