Changxing Island Country Park is located in the middle of Changxing Town, Chongming District, Shanghai. The deepest feeling of visiting Changxing Island Country Park is "big". The actual fenced area of Changxing Island Country Park Phase I is the original Qianwei farm planting and production area, east to the original Qianwei farm canteen, south to Henghe and Qiugan Road, west to Fenghuang Highway and north to Xinkaihe, which is about 45 minutes' drive from the center of Shanghai.

In contrast, Century Park, the largest urban ecological park in the central area of Shanghai, covers an area of 140.3 hectares, which is a quarter of the area of the first phase of Changxing Island Country Park.
