Development scale of senior middle schools in Anda City
Anda Senior High School was founded in 1962 and became the first batch of key middle schools in the province in 1980, and became a provincial model high school in 2004. In 2008, there were more than 2,600 students and faculty members 183, including 5 special-grade teachers, 2 national-level excellent teachers, 3 provincial-level excellent teachers, 5 provincial-level teaching experts, 32 municipal-level backbone teachers, 39 senior teachers and 69 intermediate teachers, with an average age of 35, forming a pyramid-shaped teacher group with 75% young teachers. The campus covers an area of 70,000 square meters with a building area of 26,000 square meters. The two teaching buildings stand shoulder to shoulder. There are 8 laboratories and 2 language labs in the building, with a total of 45 classes, all equipped with large-screen projection and connected to the Internet. The library is rich in books, and every computer in the library's three microcomputer classrooms is connected to the Internet. There are studios, piano classrooms, basketball halls and gymnasiums in the art museum. The student apartment can accommodate 1200 people, with excellent conditions and orderly management. The newly-built six student canteens have first-class facilities and are clean and tidy. LAN and Internet are connected with more than 300 microcomputers in the school, and all classes are multimedia classrooms.
