Gear train structure
The gear train consists of multiple gears, including a driving wheel and one or more driven wheels. The basic dimensions of gears can mesh with each other, thus realizing the operation of the gear train.
Relationship between gear speeds
When the big gear is the driving wheel and the small gear is the driven wheel, the rotation speed of the small gear will be faster. When an intermediate gear is added, the rotation direction of the last gear will be the same as that of the first gear. If more gears are added in this way, the rotation direction of each gear will be consistent with the driving wheel.
Drawing analysis
By drawing, we can understand the structure and working principle of the gear train more intuitively. For example, when there are only two gears, one big and one small, we can draw a picture to see which gear turns faster.
