China Resources Shenzhen Bay Sports Center is located in the northeast corner of Nanshan Houhai Central District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, in the middle section of Shenzhen Bay 15km coastal leisure belt. It is about 720 meters long from east to west and 430 meters wide from north to south, covering an area of 300,000 square meters and a total construction area of 335,000 square meters, and can accommodate nearly12,737 people (including 9,947 fixed seats and 2,790 movable seats).
It is the main venue of the 26th Summer Universiade on 201/kloc-0. After the Universiade, the center was opened to the public, becoming the core venue for national fitness, and also an important venue for large-scale sports events and star concerts at home and abroad. The Spring Cocoon Sports Center adopts a "trinity" structure and has three major venues: stadium, gymnasium and swimming pool.
