1956: I went to the Dance Department of Prague National Conservatory of Music in Czechoslovakia for further study and worked as a choreographer. 1959: Returned to China as the choreographer of Yunnan Song and Dance Troupe.
1962: Join the Chinese Dancers Association.
1979: Attended the Fourth National Congress of Literary and Art Workers.
1980: Vice Chairman of Gansu Dancers Association.
1980: transferred to Beijing Military Region Comrades Song and Dance Troupe as the director.
198 1 year: Mao (a famous choreographer) was included in China Artists Dictionary.
1986: Mao (an outstanding woman in China) was included in the Dictionary of Chinese and Foreign Female Celebrities.
1996: Retirement
195 1 year: took part in the revolutionary work and became a dance teacher at the Beijing Mass Art Museum in China;
During Mao's study in Czech Republic, 195 1 year: he created a mass group dance featuring the famous mass square dance "Youth Friendship Waltz"; More than ten kinds of mass dances, such as Happy Festival, picnic and pea flower, are still the most popular mass dances in China Square, and have made outstanding contributions to the mass dances in the early days of the People's Republic of China. 1980 transferred to Beijing Military Region Comrades Song and Dance Troupe as a choreographer.
During this period, Jingpo's sword dance (group dance), military theme Flying over the Rapids, Luanhe River Scenery and many other works won many awards (see the list of works for details) 1987 China's classical group dance "Lady Luck" (also known as "Giant Buddha" and "Goddess of Mercy with Thousand Hands" for details).
