According to historical records, Jun Chen, who was born in the Tang Dynasty and died in the Yuan Dynasty, lived 443 years, creating a record of longevity that has not been broken so far. According to the thirteen-year records of "Records of Yongtai County" (volume 12), Jun Chen was born in Tangquan Village, Yongjia Mountain Area, Fujian Province (now Tangcheng Village, Wu Tong Township, Yongtai County). Born in Nuozong and Xin Chou years of Tang Dynasty (88 1), he died in Jiazi year of Yuan Taiding (1).
Jun Chen himself is from Fujian, and he is also a doctor by profession. It is said that one day he came to Tang Cheng Village, Wu Tong Township, Yongtai County, and found the overall scenery and climate here quite pleasant, so he settled here. Born in 88 1 and died in 1324.
It is because of this quiet and carefree life that he has always been quite healthy. It is said that he weighed only five kilograms in his later years, and the villagers put him in a vegetable basket to support him, so some people called him a vegetable basket man. It's just that after his death, the villagers still enshrined his bones, which shows how high his position is in people's hearts.
