The French Lafite super frigate is a multi-purpose warship, which was developed and designed by the French shipbuilding company DCNS. This class of frigates is the main ship of the French navy and has also been exported to other countries as part of the main maritime forces.

Lafite super frigate adopts the most advanced technology, with advanced aiming system, air defense system and missile system. Its design also takes into account the stability and navigation ability in bad sea conditions to ensure combat capability at any time.

This frigate has many uses, including maritime strike capability, missile launch, anti-submarine capability, radar monitoring and navigation. Lafite super frigate is also equipped with many living facilities and working spaces, such as press room, business room, gym, crew rest area and ship doctor clinic.

By the end of 20021,the French navy had five Lafite super frigates, and other countries successively purchased this type of warships, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
