Material preparation: soap, needle-nosed pliers, etc.
1. Take off the zipper head and you can see that it has been severely deformed.
2. Clamp it with pliers and let it return to its original width, as shown in the figure below.
3. Put the repaired zipper head or new zipper head back on the zipper, break it, clamp it and pull it up, as shown in the figure below.
Maintenance skills of zipper:
1. When using it at ordinary times, pay attention to whether there are problems such as "broken belly" and "missing teeth" on the zipper. If there are these problems, fix them in time, and don't pull them. If the zipper is loose and toothless, you can tap it gently on the zipper head with a small hammer to make the upper and lower zipper teeth bite tighter, so that the teeth will not be toothless again.
2. The zipper of aluminum alloy is susceptible to corrosion, so it should be kept dry and moisture-proof to prevent the aluminum teeth from producing white oxide, which will lead to the zipper rusting for a long time and affect the use. At the same time, be careful not to contact alkaline and acidic substances.
When storing, ensure a certain ventilation, do not seal it, and do not store it in an environment full of water. Use moisture-proof paper or dehumidifier if necessary. If the zipper is wet, it will be stiff when pulled. At this time, dry the zipper first, then apply some wax to the teeth of the zipper, and then bake it with fire, which will be very smooth to use.
3. When pulling the zipper, first align the teeth on both sides, then hold the zipper head and gently pull it forward along the track. Don't pull hard to avoid "tooth skew", "broken belly" and "tooth loss". If the zipper is stiff and inflexible, you can clean it with a cloth first, and then apply a layer of white wax to the "teeth".
