Kunming Sports School was founded in 1983, and its name is Kunming Cheng Chun Middle School. Kunming Sports School was established in 1987, and implemented the management mode of one team and two cards. In 2003, the brand of Kunming Amateur Sports School was added. It belongs to Kunming Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Sports and Kunming Municipal Bureau of Education.
