Now it seems that these are only minor problems, but in that underdeveloped era, these so-called minor problems are likely to make people helpless. Therefore, Cornus officinalis is also called "evil-avoiding Weng".

Third, drink chrysanthemum wine.

Drinking chrysanthemum wine has a refreshing effect, and in the ancient concept, chrysanthemum is a symbol of longevity, so people think it is a kind of "auspicious wine" that can cure diseases and pray for blessings, so it must be drunk on the Double Ninth Festival.

Fourth, eat Chongyang cake.

At dawn on September 9, eating Chongyang cake means that everything is high. Because "cake" is homophonic "high", it has a good meaning of good luck and good luck, such as rising step by step and living a long life. However, Chongyang cake is not a fixed cake, and the soft cakes eaten on this day are all called Chongyang cake. My favorite is chestnut cake. It uses butter and chestnut milk paste to make extra water, then cools and kneads, and then makes a model. It's really delicious and beautiful.

Fifth, bask in the autumn

"Sunbathing in autumn" is a typical agricultural custom phenomenon. Now some southern mountainous areas have retained this feature, such as my hometown of Jiangxi. I saw it when I went back to grandma's house before. Sunbathing in autumn means sunbathing crops in open places such as your own roof and window sill. This rare sight provides artists with creative materials, so they affectionately call this painting "sunbathing in autumn".

In the past, the Double Ninth Festival was to show respect for ghosts and gods, but now it is mainly a festival to respect the elderly. Because "Nine" is the largest number in folk customs, it has the meaning of longevity, pinning people's good wishes for the health and longevity of the elderly.
