Hunhe Park is a 32-kilometer-long strip park built on the bank of Hunhe River.

Speaking of Hunhe Park, we have to talk about Hunhe first.
Hunhe River was called Shenshui in ancient times, also known as Xiaoliao River. Historically, it was the largest tributary of Liaohe River and the richest inland river in Liaoning Province.
Hunhe River originates from Gunmaling, Qingyuan County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, and flows through Fushun, Shenyang, Anshan and other cities, with a total length of 4 15 km. It merged into the Taizi River near the ancient city of Panshan County and flowed into the Daliao River.
The Hunhe Park I want to introduce is a 32-kilometer-long section that flows through Shenyang.
There are two ancient legends around Hunhe River:
The first is the origin of "Gunmaling". The scenery of Gunmaling is fresh and pleasant, and there is always running water in the forest along the way. Its streams are full of crystal-like stones, ponds filled with water, frogs often gather, and koi fish swims around, with endless blue waves, just like a beautiful picture of nature.
Legend has it that Xue, a general of the Tang Dynasty, passed by here and accidentally ran over a horse because of his lust for the scenery in front of him, hence the name "Rolling Horse Ridge".
I hate that spring is nowhere to be found and I don't know where to go. When you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and see through the glitz of life, you can choose to go to the source of Hunhe River and take a trip to the forest, which will help you find many natural things that originally belonged to you.
The other is the source of the name "Hunhe".
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, General Li led his troops to attack Nurhachi, who had just become king. Nurhachi was worried when he got the tip-off. He had only tens of thousands of soldiers and horses at that time. How could he resist 200,000 Ming troops?
Nurhachi discussed with the strategist the plan of withdrawing troops, thinking that this battle can only be outwitted, not recklessly.
One day, Nurhachi came to the river, looked at the raging river and listened to the rushing water and vortex. He had a plan.
So, he ordered several hyenas to go into the river, let them drink water and drive them around in the river.
At the same time, he ordered the whole army to mobilize the people along the river to transport all their horse manure into the river. In an instant, this crystal clear river was stirred up by heavy sediment and muddy water, with both horse manure and horse urine, which became a veritable muddy river.
General Li arrived at the river, only to find that the river was muddy and full of horse urine and horse manure, as if a tribe had just come. Afraid of being surrounded by Nurhachi, ordered the evacuation with a sullen face!
In an instant, 200,000 troops fled the river in a fog.
After learning this news, Nurhachi shouted at Tianda: "We muddied the river and scared away the Ming army. This credit belongs to Hunhe."
Second, today's Hunhe River.
This once clear river was indeed a veritable "mixed river" before 2000. In Shenyang, there are 37 sewage outlets. At that time, the water quality of Hunhe River was very turbid, and you could smell the foul smell of the river water before you approached it.
200 1 Liaoning provincial environmental protection bureau has made a plan for urban sewage treatment and utilization, and closed all sewage outlets. The first demonstration project of constructed wetland wastewater ecological treatment was built in eastern Shenyang, which improved the coastal ecological environment. So far, there are twelve sewage treatment plants like this.
On both sides of the 32-kilometer-long Hunhe urban section, a sightseeing belt integrating nature, leisure, entertainment and flood control has been built.

From east to west, the park on the north bank of Hunhe River is:
Shenyang World Expo Park, Liaoning National Fitness Outdoor Activity Base, Dongling Park, Wulihe Park, Shenshuiwan Park, Luoshiquan Ecological Park, Hunhe Wandu Park and Western Canyon Park.
From east to west, the parks on the south bank of Hunhe River are:

Each park has its own characteristics:
1. Bird Island Park is a leisure and holiday park. It is an island on the Hunhe River in Dongling District, the eastern suburb of Shenyang. Primitive vegetation and artificial greening make the environment on the island more beautiful.

2. Wulihe Park
It may seem strange to outsiders to mention Wulihe Park, but it was in Wulihe Stadium that China football first rushed out of Asia and went to the world.
I have witnessed this grand occasion with my own eyes. Now Wulihe Stadium no longer exists, and the Olympic Stadium has been built all over Hunnan District.
Wulihe Park is the nearest park to me. I like walking and exercising here often. Every day, there are people who like sports, and there are teams listening to music with neat steps. There are energetic young people playing basketball under the basketball stand; There are people who like riding, fully armed and very professional riding; There are people who like fishing, sitting by the river fishing; There are people who like running, running past you. They are full of energy and love life.
The Shengjing Grand Theatre, located in the scenic Wulihe Park, is like a bright gem. Whenever night falls, it shines, adding a touch of bright color to the city's night.
3. Deep Water Bay Park
To the west of Wulihe Park, crossing Hunhe Bridge is Shenshuiwan Park on the north bank of Hunhe River.
Shenshuiwan Park has a wooden plank road built near the water, a red plastic runway for pedestrians and an asphalt road for cyclists. The whole road is covered with dense shade, so you won't feel hot and dry in hot summer.
A tulip is planted near Hao San Bridge in early spring every year. When tulips are in full bloom, it is already the season of peach, willow and green, and a hundred flowers are blooming.

Shengjing Liu Long 1
Michelle Ye, the sage of Qing Dynasty, visited the East for the second time in the early spring of the 21st year of Kangxi (A.D. 1682). After the ceremony of exhausting the tomb in Yongling, Xinbin, it was cloudy and rainy all the way from Hunhe waterway to Shengjing ceremony. When the dragon boat reached the Hunhe section of Shengjing, the clouds suddenly cleared, turned into dragons, and auspicious clouds descended from the sky. The Lord was so happy that he ordered the boat to dock and let people plant dragon willows to commemorate the vicissitudes of Liu Long. His natural trip was to Hunhe River, the best jade willow dragon in China.
According to legend, those who worship this willow can make great achievements in literary works, businessmen can make big money, and good people can live long.
Liuyang no.2
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, he returned to Shengjing for the third time in April1year (AD 1778) to worship his ancestors. Accompanied by his ministers, he came to the Hunhe River to compose poems. Suddenly, it began to rain, and everyone was busy helping Qianlong under a willow tree. The tall canopy of willow trees formed a canopy, but Emperor Qianlong didn't get a drop of rain. It is praised that this willow tree is a sacred tree, and its crown is nearly 100 square meters after a hundred years.
Those who enjoy the cool under this tree have prosperous careers, harmonious families and successful studies, which can cure all diseases.
Liuyang no.3
In the spring of the tenth year of Jiaqing (A.D. 1805), Emperor Renzong of the Qing Dynasty returned to his hometown for the first time to worship his ancestors. Accompanied by the Mongolian king, he came to the bank of Hunhe River. Beautiful spring, Hunhe reflection, fairyland on earth. At this time, all the trees were quiet, only this tree danced without wind, which made Jiaqing happy.
According to legend, people who worship this willow tree can get help from the nobles, who are blessed with abundant jade and all the best.
If you come to Deep Water Bay Park, you must visit this Liu Long. To commemorate the Three Liu Long, there is also a Liu Long Pavilion in the park.
4. Botanical Garden
Shenyang Botanical Garden, also known as the World Expo Park and Shenyang World Horticultural Exposition Park, is a multi-functional comprehensive tourist scenic spot integrating green ecological viewing, garden art, humanistic landscape architecture, scientific research, popular science education and entertainment and leisure activities.
Botanical Garden was founded in February 1959 and officially opened to the public in February/993.
Covers an area of 2 1 1 hectare. With the Lily Tower, Phoenix Square and Rose Garden as the landmark theme buildings, it has gathered the gardens and buildings of five continents and key cities in China. There are 65,438+000 exhibition gardens in the northern and southern regions.
