Huazhuang Village, Jiangqiao Town, Jiading District, Shanghai Huazhuang Village is located in the south-central part of Jiangqiao Town, Jiading District, with Suzhou River in the south and Gauss community in the north. Outer Ring Road, Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, A5 Expressway, Hu Jia Expressway and National Highway 3 12 extend in all directions, less than 5 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao Hub, with convenient transportation. Our Huazhuang Village was established in March, 1956, formerly known as Huoxing Village. The name means that a single spark can start a prairie fire. Later, because the village name census was the same as that of the neighboring villages, it was changed to the current name in June, 1980. The economic development of Huazhuang Village began with Huazhuang Industrial Co., Ltd., whose predecessor was a village-run painting factory, which was established in 197 1. Now there are five village collective enterprises in Huazhuang Village, with an output value of 500 million yuan in 2008, accounting for 40% of the village's output value. 1993 started the construction of Huazhuang Central Village with 284 peasant villas.
