Feasibility Study on Aerobics in Rural Middle Schools

Aerobics is a new sport that combines group exercises, dancing and music, and exercises by hand or using bodybuilding equipment to achieve the purpose of fitness, bodybuilding and heart-building. It has been popularized to physical education class in urban primary and secondary schools for its entertaining, interesting, practical and ornamental features. It can not only improve the posture and physical quality, but also promote the intellectual development of students, which is conducive to the acquisition of knowledge and the improvement of thinking ability. It can also cultivate students' lively, enthusiastic, optimistic, cheerful, positive and confident personality. There are almost no aerobics courses in rural areas, and students are relatively unfamiliar with aerobics. In order to strengthen students' physique, shape their bodybuilding image and improve their artistic accomplishment and aesthetic ability. As a female physical education teacher, combining with her own professional characteristics, starting from the students' reality, comprehensively considering the students' psychological and physical acceptance ability and the influence of the surrounding environment, aerobics teaching was carried out in physical education class. This paper also aims to arouse the attention of rural middle schools to aerobics, and better promote the extensive development of aerobics in rural middle schools.

First, the preparation stage.

Collected a large number of aerobics pictures, fast-paced aerobics music, and combined movements composed of basic movements of aerobics. In indoor classes on rainy days, students can feel the rhythm of music, listen to some songs or music with strong rhythm, or DJ with obvious rhythm, string music and drums. The most important thing is to let students feel the charm of aerobics and have a strong desire and enthusiasm for learning aerobics, so as to broaden their horizons, improve their appreciation ability and interest in learning aerobics in a subtle way. In fact, it is a word, theory plus practice, telling students to listen more and remember more, to listen attentively when listening to music and beats, and to pay attention to the rhythm.

Second, the practical stage.

(1) Starting from the basics, pay attention to the teaching of basic skills.

Mastering certain basic movements is the basis of learning aerobics well. In teaching, I first practice lower limb movements, such as standing posture, stepping, "one-step" step, striding and jumping. Let students feel that the movements are simple but so interesting by appearing in the form of aerobics, thus enhancing their interest in learning. Then arrange "V" step, "A" step, back kick, forward sideways bounce kick, pony jump and other movements with certain difficulty changes. After the lower limb movements have a certain foundation, simple upper limb movements, such as chest elbow flexion, arm lifting, side lifting, front crossing, etc. , are combined to cultivate students' ability of coordination and cooperation of upper and lower limbs. When I explain and demonstrate the movements, I emphasize maintaining the basic posture of the body. For example, when practicing lower limb movements, I ask the upper body to stay upright and not to shake with the movement of the center of gravity of the lower limb.

(2) According to the students' actual situation, carry out stratified teaching with the same content but different requirements.

According to the differences of students' basic body posture and skills, I divide students into four categories, namely four groups. Before grouping, we should do in-depth and meticulous ideological work for students, so that students can understand the purpose of grouping and build confidence. . Each group is assigned a team leader to take charge, and at the same time, according to their different differences, they make up actions with different difficulties. In teaching, I follow the following steps. The first group: good basic posture, strong ability to understand movements and high enthusiasm for practice. On the basis of mastering the essentials of action, it can reflect the strength, amplitude, rhythm and good expressive force of action; The second group: the basic posture is medium, interested in aerobics learning, able to master the whole set of movements, and able to show some extension, rhythm and expression posture; The third group: the basic posture is average, but they can participate in the practice according to the teacher's requirements and basically master the whole set of movements; The fourth group: poor coordination and understanding, requiring such students to follow the other three groups to do strokes and exercises. After learning for a period of time, fine-tune according to the students' mastery of the movements. Be a good organizer and model in students' exercises, praise "progressors", encourage "walkers" and help "laggards".

On the basis of mastering certain basic movements, I designed different aerobics routines. As mentioned above, complex routine exercises such as coordination, direction change and rotation of lower limbs are more difficult and the rhythm changes faster.

Different groups make different difficulty cuts. Especially for the fourth group of students, the decomposition teaching method is adopted, and the lower limbs move first, then the upper limbs move, and then the upper limbs cooperate with each other to practice, so that the students in each group can gain and improve in practice, and their self-confidence is enhanced and their mood is high.

Third, the effect analysis stage

1, have a correct understanding of why to learn aerobics.

Because aerobics has a strong sense of music rhythm, unrestrained movements and full of energy, regular exercise can not only eliminate nervous and depressed emotions, but also cultivate and improve students' mind and temperament, so as to make them develop healthily physically and mentally. After participating in aerobics, students have a correct understanding of what is physical beauty, and many girls have changed their concept of thinness as beauty. At the same time, in aerobics teaching, students are required to keep the posture of abdomen and chest, which makes many students get rid of the bad habit of walking with their chests bowed.

2. Enhance students' sense of rhythm and rhythm.

Aerobics has a distinct sense of rhythm and rhythm. Through learning, students have a certain understanding of music rhythm, and gradually develop to adapt to the rhythm and improve their sense of music. Before learning aerobics, many students have no sense of rhythm, and even have no sense of rhythm to the music played between classes. For a piece of music with a strong sense of rhythm, some students still can't tell the rhythm of the music when practicing. So some students want me to play music by shouting passwords, otherwise it will jump faster and faster. Now I can practice according to different music.

3. Students' imagination has been developed.

Aerobics can be combined into many different routines through some identical movements. After students have a certain foundation of aerobics, they can give full play to their imagination and creativity according to the movements they have learned, and combine movements at will with the accompaniment of music, play freely and jump heartily. After teaching students aerobics for a period of time, some students have been able to use their learned movements freely when leading unarmed exercises in preparation activities. Their thinking activities are very active, their imagination and creativity are very rich, and they have become the backbone of class aerobics teaching.

4. Students' interest in physical education class has increased.

In the past, when students went to physical education class, because the venue equipment and teaching content were mostly quality exercises, the teaching methods were boring and monotonous. Some students didn't work hard in class, so the teacher reluctantly urged them to practice several times. 90% of the students want to go to physical education class, hoping to move freely. After the introduction of aerobics into teaching, students' curiosity at first was gradually attracted by beautiful music and cheerful rhythm, and their enthusiasm for participating in exercise was improved. I made a survey among students about your five favorite sports in physical education class. Most girls choose aerobics in the first three items, and among boys, many students choose aerobics. Thus, it is not that students don't like physical education class. As long as our teachers proceed from students' reality, constantly enrich the teaching content and adopt various teaching methods, students will like physical education.

5. Enhance students' self-confidence and sense of cooperation.

When I first started practicing aerobics, many students chatted together and were still booing when they saw which one was not doing well. With the deepening of teaching, students' sense of cooperation is enhanced, and mutual guidance and improvement have gradually become a good atmosphere. Moreover, students who used to be shy when enjoying aerobics, with the continuous progress of their movements, their self-confidence is also increasing. Now, they will dance to unrestrained music with equally graceful movements.

Fourth, the stage of summary and suggestion.

(1) Aerobics is deeply loved by teachers and students because it is not limited by time, venue, equipment and number of people. Taking aerobics as the content of physical education is not only conducive to the diversification of school physical education teaching content, but also conducive to stimulating students' interest in learning physical education, which has a good influence on the improvement of students' physical quality. Therefore, we should strengthen the implementation of aerobics class and make it develop better.

(2) Because of the physical differences and hobbies of boys and girls, it is more beneficial to improve the quality of aerobics teaching for boys and girls to teach in different classes.

(3) Increase the investment in venues and facilities.

With the support of relevant departments, schools should increase capital investment in venues and facilities, improve the current situation that venues and equipment are not enough to meet the teaching requirements of teachers and students, and improve the management system. With the pace of new curriculum reform, curriculum diversification also conforms to the requirements of new curriculum reform, and school physical education should adapt to the needs of social diversification and explore in multiple disciplines and aspects.

introduce

On the one hand, physical education class's function is to exercise students' healthy physique, on the other hand, it is to cultivate students' morality and temperament. Ordinary sports in physical education class, such as football and basketball, cannot better cultivate students' temperament, so aerobics can better cultivate students' ability to adapt to society. Aerobics is a sport, which is integrated with music. It has a fast pace and a strong sense of the times. It can not only cultivate students' sense of music and beauty, but also cultivate their temperament. However, how to better cultivate students' interest in aerobics, so as to better master the sport, enjoy the body and mind, develop good habits of lifelong aerobics and other physical exercises, and serve them for the society in the future is a subject faced by aerobics teachers. Therefore, we should try our best to improve students' interest in learning aerobics and learn from their characteristics, so as to improve their comprehensive quality.

According to Table 2, the age range of students in school is between 16 and 19. Among them, 1 106 16 accounts for about 32% of the total number, 108 accounts for about 30% of the total number, of which 18 accounts for about 28% and 19 accounts for about 9% of the total number.

2. 1.3 Middle school students' interest in aerobics

The content is very interesting, and those who are generally not interested are always.

No.130 3619185

Percentage (%) 70.3%19.5%10.2%100.0%

As can be seen from Table 2, 70.3% of the students are interested in aerobics, 19.5% think it is average, and 10.2% think it is not interested. This is the students' intuitive feeling of aerobics. They learn about aerobics through various channels and understand the sport of aerobics. First of all, they are interested in aerobics. It is believed that this course is different from ordinary physical education class, and students of this age group have entered a stage of rapid physical and psychological development, with many ideas and opinions. Both introverted and extroverted students have psychological characteristics such as timidity, shyness, love of dirt, love of beauty and enhancement of self-esteem to some extent. It is generally believed that they have grown up, and the carefree mentality of jumping when they were young has gradually disappeared. Most girls are quiet and seldom exercise. Some people even have a resistance to exercise for the sake of being quiet, loving beauty and neatness. In addition, in view of the girls' timid, delicate and face-saving psychology, they have poor basic physical fitness, lack of self-confidence and timidity, and are unwilling to do some sports that require high quality such as strength, speed and endurance. Most boys only pay attention to ball games and are not familiar with aerobics, or think aerobics is for girls.

2.2 Aerobics course in a school in a certain place.

2.2. 1 Curriculum Development Table

Middle schools also regard elective teaching as an important part of the overall teaching plan, which is an important link for students to organize their knowledge structure reasonably. In order to improve students' comprehensive quality, improve their knowledge structure and promote all-round development, the school has set up aerobics as an elective course. In order to make full use of our teaching resources and provide students with sufficient, distinctive and optional courses. Elective courses and compulsory courses have the same calculation hours, and the whole teaching is divided into 30 hours, including theory course 1 hour, examination 2 hours and teaching content 27 hours. In the theoretical part, an overview of aerobics and an introduction to the basic technical movements of aerobics are prepared. In teaching, it is the basic step of aerobics, and then there will be the study of popular aerobics routines and aerobics exercises.

2.2.2 Teaching content and time allocation

Table 4 Statistics of teaching content of students in aerobics class in a school N= 185

Content Aerobic Aerobics Mass Aerobics Conventional Aerobic Boxing Fitness Street Dance Latin Aerobics Total

No.43 65 25 39 13 185

Percentage (%) 23% 35%14% 21%7%100%

As can be seen from Table 4, the most popular project for students is mass routine, accounting for 65 people, followed by aerobics, reaching 43 people, while the number of fighting, fitness street dance and Latin dance is relatively small, but this does not mean that students are unwilling to learn, but because their physical fitness is limited, the learning of mass aerobics is more acceptable to them, so the forms of aerobics teaching activities are very flexible and diverse. In the course of aerobics class in a school, according to the students' ability, different teaching purposes and tasks are formulated, and more learning content will be arranged if the teaching conditions and teachers' conditions permit. The school mainly arranged the second and third level learning of mass aerobics routines. Within a week, the number of aerobics elective courses is 2-3. Generally speaking, theoretical knowledge is learned in the first week of class, and mass aerobics routine is the basic teaching content in subsequent courses. In each class, the content of aerobics is arranged in the part of teaching preparation activities. On average, one class of aerobics basic movements takes 10 minute, aerobics routine practice takes 25 minutes and relaxation takes 5 minutes.

appraisal procedure

The study of aerobics class is not only to make students get physical and mental pleasure, but also to let them really master a skill, so the assessment after study is essential, which is divided into two aspects in the assessment system. The first aspect is learning attitude, attendance at ordinary times, and whether the classroom learning attitude is positive, serious and correct; Mastering the theoretical knowledge of aerobics. This accounts for 20% of the total score. The second aspect is technical assessment, accounting for 80%, and the score is divided into four grades:

1, excellent: dynamic action, expressive force and harmonious music.

2. Good: the movements are basically correct, with certain strength and coordinated musical movements.

3. Pass the exam: complete the action independently, the action is basically correct, and the music coordination is basically accurate.

4. Failure: completing the action independently, and the action is not accurate enough to match the music.

If students fail, they will not get credits for elective courses.

2.3 A school students' understanding of aerobics

Through the investigation of middle school students' understanding of aerobics, 85% students have listened to aerobics audio-visual materials, which shows that many students know aerobics. However, 15% students can't tell aerobics from gymnastics. In the concept test of aerobics, 84% students choose "the integration of gymnastics and dance". This also shows that most students now have excellent family conditions, and they have obtained information about aerobics through TV, computers, advertisements and other media. In addition, with the rise of the surrounding gyms, they are also familiar with aerobics. According to the investigation on the value of aerobics, 82% students think that aerobics is mainly for losing weight, and that the main reason for participating in aerobics is to lose weight and shape. In the survey of "the main reasons for liking aerobics", most students can understand that the fitness effect of aerobics is "graceful and dynamic, advancing with the times, and achieving fitness and beauty".

2.4 School teachers

According to the survey, there is a shortage of professional teachers because aerobics class in a school is an elective course for students. There are 20 physical education teachers in the school, and there are only 2 professional aerobics teachers in the school, accounting for 10%, and non-professional aerobics teachers 18, accounting for 90%. But the school has four non-professional aerobics teachers. Because the school takes aerobics as an elective course, teachers have no motivation to improve the current situation of aerobics teaching. The four teachers who participated in the training also joined the training club outside because of their interest in aerobics. So far, the school has never organized teachers to participate in aerobics training. However, the aerobics teachers who participate in the training have limited ability and can't go out for training regularly, so the aerobics class lacks updated content. Two professional aerobics teachers can't take care of all the aerobics classes in the school. Because the aerobics class in a school is divided into grades, there may be no aerobics elective course in one grade, or the aerobics class in one grade needs teachers from other grades to take the place.

Therefore, the cultivation of aerobics teachers in a school is very important. If we can't make good use of the application of aerobics teachers in teaching activities, there will be some restrictions on the popularization and promotion of this project. There is no end to learning, and the knowledge structure of physical education teachers cannot stay at the original level. Only by constantly supplementing and perfecting one's own knowledge structure, summing up teaching experience in time, and constantly developing and innovating on the original basis, can one be better qualified for middle school physical education teaching. Schools should also pay more attention to aerobics teaching, hold aerobics training classes and knowledge lectures regularly or irregularly, strengthen the construction of aerobics teachers and improve the professional level of physical education teachers. Starting from the present situation of physical education teachers, I hope to attract the attention of school leaders. Increasing the number of aerobics teachers, improving the strength of aerobics teachers and improving the management mechanism are also the fundamental elements of the present situation. The popularization and promotion of aerobics in middle school physical education and health education must be strengthened from the management mechanism. On the basis of the original teachers, through various ways, learn aerobics knowledge, train teachers to improve teaching level and promote aerobics teaching activities.

2.5 School venues and equipment.

Statistical table of students' satisfaction with aerobics venues in a school N= 185.

The content is very satisfied, completely satisfied and dissatisfied.

No.125 5010185

Percentage (%) 67% 28% 5% 100%

First of all, the existence of teaching venues and equipment will seriously affect the development of aerobics teaching activities, because outdoor venues are not suitable for aerobics teaching, and the weather is the main influencing factor, because the weather will directly affect the teaching effect, and teaching activities can not be fully carried out. Second, the lack of equipment will also reduce students' interest in learning and affect their ability to play. Over time, they will lose interest in aerobics learning, which will not only affect teachers' teaching enthusiasm, but also be difficult to achieve teachers' enthusiasm. However, in order to make the teaching of aerobics more smooth, the school leaders and teachers of a school specially converted a classroom into an aerobics room. After investigation, a school in a certain place has a good teaching venue, with an indoor venue equipped with DVD, speakers, TV, wooden floor, leadership desk and mirror. From the survey of students, it can be seen that more than 67% students are very satisfied with the facilities in the aerobics room, which shows that the facilities in a school are in good condition and the teaching conditions can meet the normal teaching of aerobics.

3 Problems and solutions in the development of aerobics curriculum in a school

3. 1 At present, the problems and solutions of aerobics class in a certain school can be summarized into three main reasons from teaching practice and questionnaire survey:

First, teachers and teaching materials for aerobics classes should be developed. Aerobics is a new sport in middle schools. Physical education teachers who graduated in their early years have never studied aerobics and cannot undertake the teaching of this course. In middle schools lacking aerobics teachers, aerobics courses cannot be offered naturally, and there is a lack of aerobics teaching materials that meet the characteristics of middle school students. In particular, there is an urgent need for a set of systematic and scientific medical care that can meet the requirements of quality education in the new era and implement the concept of sunshine sports.

Second, I'm shy, and I don't like others to see me work out. There are not a few middle school students with this psychological state. Through investigation and interview, I know that some students think their movements are not beautiful, and there are many students of the opposite sex who are not in their class in the practice room and don't want to be seen by them. In view of the fact that middle school students are not as lively and active as primary school students, their physical development is becoming more and more mature, and they are particularly sensitive to the comments of the opposite sex, the primary task of teachers is to help them build up their self-confidence and improve their self-confidence and aesthetic ability. Beauty should not only stay on the surface for students to understand. Through the study and exercise of aerobics, students can have a healthier body and a confident heart. This healthy self-confidence is the real beauty, the foundation of all beauty, and a natural beauty without any modification.

Third, it is difficult to move and can't keep up with the rhythm. This is the main negative influence that often appears in aerobics teaching in middle schools. Students' sports quality is different from their physical condition. Middle school students have not been exposed to physical education training except broadcast gymnastics, and they can't keep up with their own movements in aerobics learning, which puts forward higher requirements for physical education teachers. It is necessary not only to demonstrate skillfully and beautifully, but also to explain fluently and easily. It is also necessary to be good at correctly choosing the presentation surface, constantly improving teaching methods, and using various teaching means to stimulate students' interest in active learning, so that students can maintain a good mental state in class. In addition, we should follow the principle of gradual progress. In the early stage of learning, we should reasonably choose simple movements, cooperate with slow and rhythmic music, and slowly speed up the music. The change of action makes students feel energetic and full of vitality. Practice attractive and exciting music repeatedly, and pay due attention to the combination of work and rest.

4 Conclusions and suggestions

4. 1 conclusion

4. 1. 1 Among the teachers in a certain school, the overall level of aerobics knowledge and skills teachers is not high, which has certain restrictions on the popularization of this project.

4. 1.2 Aerobics is a sport that helps middle school students to adjust their psychology and body. Students also have a strong interest in aerobics, which is very suitable for middle school students to practice.

4. 1.3 insufficient teaching hours and school facilities can not meet the needs of aerobics teaching and practice, which are the main factors affecting the better development of aerobics.

4.2 Suggestions

4.2. 1 Increase the construction of aerobics teachers. Although the school has six teachers as aerobics classes, there are only two professional aerobics teachers. Therefore, the structure of aerobics teachers should be adjusted reasonably, and at least one professional aerobics teacher should be added, so that each grade has an average of one professional aerobics teacher. This can not only reduce the burden of aerobics teachers, but also ensure the full input of teaching energy in their respective courses, ensure the development of teaching level and thus ensure the teaching quality. In addition, the school should also allocate funds for other physical education teachers to receive aerobics training, so that the school tends to be balanced in aerobics teaching.

4.2.2 Students' ideological work should be in place to cultivate students' awareness of active learning in class. In class, teachers should fully mobilize students' psychology and let students experience the fun of aerobics class.

4.2.3 Organize aerobics exercises in students' after-school exercises, strengthen lifelong sports awareness, and strengthen the utilization of aerobics teaching facilities, so as to provide basic guarantee for ensuring the quality of aerobics teaching. Many students report that there is no place to practice after the action class. It is necessary to increase the openness of the aerobics room and increase high-quality audio equipment as much as possible to make the teaching materials more perfect.
