The Twin Towers were built in Sui and Tang Dynasties and rebuilt in Song Dynasty. The original Miaoxiang Temple has a west tower inside and an east tower outside. The temple no longer exists, but the twin towers still exist. The west tower is square, seven stories high and about 30 meters high. During the earthquake in the thirty-fourth year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1555), the tower gate was destroyed. The East Tower is also seven-story, square, hollow at the bottom and solid at the top. The west tower is Tang and the east tower is Song. The gate of the Twin Towers opens in the opposite direction.

According to legend, there is a white snake in the West Building, which is called the White Snake Building. The East Tower contains Xu Xian (the original portrait of the seventh floor) and is called Xu Xian Tower. Every July, White Snake meets Xu Xian. The night is quiet and the moon is bright as day. The shadow of the twin towers blends under the moon, symbolizing the reunion of husband and wife, because it is called the shadow of the twin towers. There are many goose nests on the twin towers. Wild geese fly around at dusk, so they are also called Wild Goose Pagoda.

The west tower sits west to east, with brick and wood structure, square nine floors and pavilion style. There is also an arch on the east side of the first floor of the tower, which echoes the East Tower from a distance. In the middle of the tower gate is a shrine dedicated to Buddha statues. There is a corridor ladder on the south side of the tower voucher door, which can go up to the arched voucher door on the east side of the second floor and climb around the tower along the waist eaves outside the door. The arch is connected with the tower center, and the tower body is hollow and square, reaching the top of the tower.
