Side effects of Rabdosia rubescens tablets
It is a plant of Rabdosia in Labiatae. Sweet, bitter and slightly cold, it has the functions of clearing away heat and toxic materials, diminishing inflammation and relieving pain, invigorating stomach and promoting blood circulation. Can be used for treating carbuncle caused by heat toxin stasis and abdominal distension. [Pharmacology] The chemical constituents in Rabdosia rubescens are very complicated, including monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, diterpenes and triterpenes. Five diterpenoids were isolated from the ether extract of Rabdosia rubescens leaves, namely Rabdosia rubescens A, B, C, D and Rong. Nine components were identified from the leaves and essential oil of Rabdosia rubescens. In vivo experiments show that intraperitoneal injection of oridonin 10 mg/kg has obvious anti-tumor effect on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, liver cancer and sarcoma S 180 ascites type, and the average survival time of animals is over 100%. It has obvious cytotoxicity to Ehrlich ascites tumor cells cultured in vitro. It was also found that after injection of oridonin in mice, the insoluble part of thymidine (DNA) injected into human tumor cells decreased, while the acid-soluble part of thymidine nucleus increased, especially thymidine triphosphate, which indicated that oridonin might block the polymerization of deoxynucleotide substrates to form DNA without affecting the phosphorylation of thymidine. The combination of rubescensin A and bleomycin A5 can obviously inhibit the DNA synthesis of P388 leukemia and Ehrlich ascites cancer cells in vivo and in vitro, and the inhibition effect on tumor DNA synthesis is stronger than that of bone marrow cells. If rubescensin A, bleomycin A5 and tumoricidal mustard are used in combination, the life extension rate of transplanted tumor mice, the proliferation inhibition of sarcoma 180 cells in vivo and the killing effect of Ehrlich ascites cancer cells in vitro are the best. [Modern Application] 1. The Rabdosia rubescens Research Cooperation Group in Henan Province reported that Rabdosia rubescens syrup was used to treat early esophageal cancer, of which 74 cases were used for more than 3 years. Follow-up showed that 14 cases were improved, 5/kloc-0 cases were stable, 7 cases developed and 2 cases died. From the beginning of treatment, 72 of 74 cases survived. 17 cases were treated for more than 5 years and all survived. At the same time, they were divided into three groups: surgical treatment group, radiotherapy group and untreated group. The three-year survival rates were 77.2%, 53.8% and 36.3% respectively. Another 35 cases of advanced esophageal cancer were treated, and the total effective rate was 28.6%. Rabdosia rubescens A was used to treat esophageal cancer 17 cases, and the total effective rate was 23.5%. In terms of effective rate, Rabdosia rubescens is not as effective as Pingyangmycin, Erythromycin and Vinblastine amide, but in terms of remission period and survival time, Rabdosia rubescens is obviously superior to the above drugs. The average survival time of Rabdosia rubescens was more than 14 months, in which 10 patients survived for more than 2 years and/kloc-0 patients survived for more than 65 months, and most of the above anti-tumor drugs survived for more than 65 months. It can improve the curative effect of Rabdosia rubescens combined with chemotherapy drugs in the first affiliated hospital of Henan Medical College on advanced esophageal cancer. 97 cases of advanced esophageal cancer were treated with Rabdosia rubescens, cyclophosphamide and erythromycin, of which 5 cases were completely relieved, 2 cases were partially relieved/kloc-0, and 26 cases were effective. The total effective rate was 44.3%. Seven cases were treated with Rabdosia rubescens, Pingyangmycin and Xiaotumormustard, all of which were effective. After being combined with the above drugs, its side effects are also reduced. 2. Liver Cancer According to the statistics of the oncology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College, 3/kloc-0 cases of primary liver cancer were treated with Rabdosia rubescens syrup and tablets or Rabdosia rubescens A, and about 80% of the patients' symptoms such as liver pain and loss of appetite were obviously improved. After treatment, the six-month survival rate was 29.6%, the three-year survival rate was 12%, and the two-year survival rate was 10%. Simple type has good curative effect, but sclerotic type has poor curative effect. Judging from the half-year survival rate, the curative effect of Rabdosia rubescens is lower than that of camptothecin suspension and zilmycin, but similar to that of fluorouracil and thiotepa. Judging from the 1 year survival rate, Rabdosia rubescens is not worse than the above drugs, and its toxic and side effects should be small, and it can improve the symptoms of most patients with liver cancer, so it is one of the safer and more effective drugs for treating liver cancer. 3. X-power report of malignant tumor 45 cases of esophageal cancer, liver cancer and colon cancer were treated with Rabdosia rubescens, and the patients were divided into two groups, 40 cases were treated with Rabdosia rubescens crude preparation respectively. Take Rabdosia rubescens syrup (1: 100), 20 ~ 50ml each time, or Rabdosia rubescens tablets (each tablet contains 3g crude drugs), 5 tablets each time, and take orally three times a day. There were 5 cases in the rubescensin thickening preparation group, and the usage of the crude preparation was the same as above, with rubescensin 75 ~ 100 mg, glucose solution 500ml, intravenous drip every other day 1 time. The shortest administration time is 1 month, and the longest is 15 months. Results: In the crude preparation group, 3 cases were in partial remission, with obvious effect 1 1 case, stable 16 cases and ineffective 10 cases. In the Rabdosia rubescens thickening preparation group, 2 cases were slightly effective, 1 case was stable, and 2 cases were ineffective. All cases have different degrees of subjective improvement, especially after taking the medicine 10 days, that is, the symptoms are obviously relieved, such as dysphagia, abdominal pain relief, and hematemesis in the stool. [Toxic side effects] Rabdosia rubescens syrup and tablets have no obvious toxic side effects. Only a few patients have mild abdominal distension, diarrhea and increased stool frequency after taking the medicine. Generally, no treatment is needed, and it can disappear by itself by reducing the dose. The slow intravenous drip of oridonin has no obvious toxic and side effects, but the dosage is too large (above 100mg each time) or the infusion speed is too fast, and more than half of the patients have numbness, toothache, tears, dizziness, upset, nausea and vomiting. , slow down or stop infusion 15 ~ 30 min and then disappear. Continuous drip can cause phlebitis.
