Why do so many people go to yoga instead of Tai Chi?
Yoga seems to be quite popular some time ago, and many white-collar workers practice it. I wonder how yoga is performing in the international market now? I always watch CCTV propaganda films about how foreigners like Tai Chi. Why don't young people in China use Tai Chi to keep fit? I think these two sports look similar. The reason for my own analysis is the psychological trouble of worshipping foreign things and obsessing foreign countries. Yoga marketing is well done, and it is too shameful for old men and women to practice Tai Chi in the square. Comparison between Yoga and Tai Chi: China and India belong to the Oriental category in culture, and they have quite a few characteristics, such as valuing spirit over material, valuing collectivity over individuals, valuing harmony over competition, valuing righteousness over profit, valuing agriculture over business (in sharp contrast to western culture). Just as Tai Ji Chuan is a treasure in China's traditional culture, yoga is also a banner of Indian traditional culture. Both of them are oriental traditional sports health culture, and naturally there are many similarities and differences, but there are still qualitative differences between them. Whether yoga can be popularized or publicized all over the world, especially young women, like it very much. Tai Chi is not practiced by fewer people, but is not particularly international.
