The mascot "UU" is a smiling face evolved from the emblem "Happy U" of Shenzhen 201KLOC-0/World Universiade. At the same time, it has the shape of the initials "U" of "Universiade". According to the opinions of professionals in the fields of design, film and television animation and toy manufacturing, "UU" is the most suitable mascot for the Universiade. It breaks the design tradition of realistic modeling of mascots in previous Universiade, shows blood relationship with the emblem of Shenzhen Universiade "Happy U", and shows a kind of genetic inheritance with the permanent symbol of FISU, so its temperament and appearance are consistent, forming blood relationship.

Torch design is another important image and landscape design task after the collection of emblem and mascot design. Torch design should fully reflect the internationalization and artistry, emphasize the complementarity with the Universiade emblem, theme slogan, mascots, medals and other visual symbols, fully demonstrate the professional level of Shenzhen as the "design capital" and embody the hosting concept of "reform and opening up, youth and fashion, unlimited creativity and unlimited passion". Therefore, the Universiade attaches great importance to the design and development of the torch. After a year of collection and evaluation, mold opening experiment, R&D and production, all the work has been successfully completed. 1. The torch has undergone professional design and strict evaluation. In June 2009, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, Shenzhen Design Federation and Shenzhen Industrial Design Industry Association were invited to participate in the torch design, and * * * received 27 sets of design schemes from 9 units. On August 3, 2009, the torch design review meeting was organized. The judges came from the top professional design and torch production experts in China, and systematically discussed and screened the image, function, differentiation and feasibility of torch design. Three short-listed schemes were selected from 27 schemes, and the design scheme was finally determined after modeling and review. Second, the original design concept of the torch. The design of the torch is inspired by the emblem of Shenzhen Universiade "Happy U", and the basic form of the torch is constructed with polka dots and thin sheets as the basic elements. Each oval is based on the color system of the Universiade, with red and yellow as the main colors, reflecting the color intention of sunshine, youth and flame. Creative highlight of the torch: oval and colorful slices can be rotated into various shapes at will, which is a torch with ever-changing shapes that can interact with torchbearers. Every torchbearer can adjust his favorite torch shape according to his own imagination. This means that each torchbearer and his torch are unique. The design of the torch has completely broken the previous design concept of the torch of various sports games represented by the Olympic Games, rewritten the history of the torch emphasizing single modeling, truly embodied the urban spirit of Shenzhen as the "capital of design and creativity", and will add a gorgeous and creative stroke to the history of the World Universiade.

Medal style is one of the most shining, exciting and easily noticed parts in sports events. The medal design of this competition inherits the innovative thinking of Shenzhen Universiade, hoping to leave precious memories for the winning athletes, so as to fully reflect the artistic level of Shenzhen as the "design capital" of the United Nations. Now the relevant design scheme has been completed. First, the medal design concept The medal is 60 mm in diameter and 5 mm in thickness. The front is engraved with the FISU emblem and the English font of "Shenzhen 26th Summer Universiade"; The back is engraved with the emblem of the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen and the full name in Chinese, and one of the folding faces is inlaid with wavy colored mother-of-pearl. The ribbon consists of the core graphics and the name of this tournament. The inspiration of medal design comes from the architectural structure and crystal texture of the main stadium of this Universiade. The basic form of medals presents the crystal structure intention of crystal, and the multi-angle broken lines and decent changes complement the architectural style of the main stadium, reflecting the radiant and dazzling. What is even more ingenious is that the folded surface of the medal is inlaid with wavy colorful mother-of-pearl, just like the sea skimming the beach, leaving the mark of the ocean and the memory of Shenzhen. We call it "in the heart of the sea". The design scheme of medals poetically reflects the geographical and humanistic characteristics of Shenzhen, a coastal city, and the unique youthful atmosphere and vitality of the World University Games. May "in the heart of the sea" cross the ocean, convey the blessings of China and Shenzhen, and bring happiness and wisdom to college students around the world!
