The abdominal chakra is sacred in the eyes of novices, because everyone wants abdominal muscles, and the abdominal chakra is an instrument that looks easy to operate. Compared with rolling abdomen, abdominal chakra seems to be more advanced and exciting in theory.
As a result, many people will buy one to play with, and maybe they can develop an abdominal muscle or something.
After buying it, I found it was useless, so we started looking for some tutorials online.
The tutorial tells us to kneel, keep your back straight, then hold the abdominal wheel with both hands, slowly push it forward to the farthest point, and then push your hips back slowly.
When I followed, I really felt very tired, sweated a lot and was ecstatic. Results the next day, I found that my back was sore and my abdomen was still comfortable. It turned out that my strength muscle ran to my back, and I gave up my abdominal chakra in a rage.

What I'm talking about here is the basic version of the belly wheel movement. If you are a master, you can skip it directly.
Before it's too late, let's get started.
First kneel on the yoga mat, hold the handles on both sides of the abdominal wheel with both hands, and then arch your back slightly. Please note that this is different from the previous action. If it is a straight back movement, the force point will be concentrated in the back waist area. The purpose of arching the back is to let rectus abdominis better participate in the stress.
Look at other movements, whether it's belly rolling or leg hanging, there will be an inward folding of the abdomen, but the abdominal muscle strengthening wheel is different. Its purpose is to stimulate the abdomen for a long time under the condition of tightening the rectus abdominis.
Secondly, the rolling range of the abdominal wheel. We can often see that some people are quite exaggerated when doing actions, and they want to straighten their bodies. In fact, although this stimulus will be stronger, the possibility of injury will be greater. When you start practicing, no matter whether the distance is long or short, you must ensure that it is within the controllable range. It is the last word to lose your vanity and ensure that the pressure is obvious, safe and effective.
Pay attention to keep the core area tight during the abdominal wheel rolling, and don't relax. When rolling to the maximum range you can bear, feel the peak contraction, stay for 1-2 seconds, and then slowly retract. When retracting, the stress point is still in the core area of the abdomen, not the buttocks in our consciousness.
Finally, the range of motion of the buttocks. The reason why the previous action was wrong was because it was taken back by the ass. Excessive hip movement will weaken the stimulation to the abdomen.
The reason why the abdominal chakra exercises the abdominal muscles is that it constantly stimulates the abdominal muscles, which is a bit like a V-shaped support. You can't relax a little.
In order not to make our hips too active, we can place a reference at the starting point. As long as our hips are outward, we can't touch this reference object during the whole recovery process until we do a whole set of actions.
Even if we see some awesome people standing or moving quickly and smoothly to complete the training, we don't have to worry about envy, which has nothing to do with you.
In short, don't be too hasty in practicing any movements. Spend a lot of time polishing your standardized movements first, and then you will fly faster and farther.
