Through simple training, we began to work. Our job is to promote the company's products and bring customers to clinch a deal. In this company, I was fortunate to know my jade master Li and my colleague Wang at that time. Li is a young man two years older than me. As our business manager and trainer, he entered the business in his teens and taught me some basic knowledge of jade identification and classification.
Our business is not going well. What we need to do every day is to go downstairs or look for potential customers on the pedestrian street, take them to the company headquarters for consumption, and then get a commission from the sales of customers. Product levels range from hundreds to hundreds of thousands. But the development is often unfamiliar, so the cost of customer trust is very high. Jade is an abstruse and incomprehensible industry in the eyes of ordinary people. It is even more abrupt for strangers to contact and introduce themselves. Ordinary people have no discriminating ability at all, and there are not many buyers. Many people often don't buy this thing specifically. Generally, they only go to the jewelry counter when they want to buy gifts and jewelry, so we do it very hard, and even the effect is not as good as those who pick up customers at roadside beauty salons or gyms immediately.
After a while, Li told me and Xiao Wang, a new company, that jewelry and jade articles made great profits. Do it yourself rather than do it for others. We three young people hit it off. Soon, three people pooled several thousand pieces of start-up capital to get goods in Nanyang, and started our stall career in Dehua Street. Li talked about floats and stalls.
At that time, every morning we took a bus from the suburbs to Erqita Square to set up stalls and watch stalls. For Xiao Wang and me, going out of the campus and directly stepping into the process of starting a business makes us feel infinitely beautiful in the future and particularly proud in our hearts. At the end of the day, we won't feel bored. In this way, I spent a busy and full day. Business is sometimes better than selling clothes next to it. After the booth closed, the three of us often ate together, drank heavily and stuttered, feeling that life was particularly beautiful. At that time, we had enthusiasm, courage and no return. Li is also an excellent soul figure among the three of us.
Later, our float lease expired, and we started to set up stalls in the antique city again. We practiced setting up stalls in Bibo Garden. There are several floors of commercial buildings over there, and there are booths outside. At that time, there was almost no booth fee in the yard, and there were few people at ordinary times, but there were many people on weekends. We usually let it go symbolically, take up space early in the morning on weekends and set up a stall in the sun for a day. Sometimes you can barely sell two pieces a day, but you may have thousands of turnover a day on weekends. The profit we controlled was very low, and it was very cheap to get goods at that time. In our spare time, we will also go to the mall to meet the owner of the physical store, rummage through the old book stalls and look at other people's goods. At that time, everything was fresh. Especially in summer, it's scorching outside, and the air conditioner in the mall is fully open. It's really ice and fire.
Later, Li found a facade near the small side door of a large clothing wholesale city in Zhengzhou, and the lease was still half a year. We finally have our own shop, although small, but it is also a good location. There is a lot of traffic over there. Although the location of our shop is poor, it is ok. In the days after opening the store, Li was busy in love and Wang was lazy. I often operate it alone. I put the goods away every day and introduce them as soon as the guests come. When there are many people, I often can't take care of them, and sometimes there will be people who are not authentic. Fortunately, the cost is not high. In fact, when we set up a stall in the antique city, we also lost a lot of things. A group of people come around and ask for the price to see the goods, which will really take care of one thing and lose another. The store is relatively better. When no one is around, I sit and weave jade ropes of various colors and styles. I feel like a small boss.
Sometimes I go to the small commodities to get the goods in the morning, and I will look after the store as soon as I come back. It will be a day in a blink of an eye, and I will have a rice noodle or mala Tang downstairs at noon. It's cold and cold to spend a day in the mall in summer without sunshine. Going out at night, the heat wave is rolling outside, like a big steamer. For the convenience of work, I moved the rental house from North University Town to Gangpo in the west of the city. At that time, I couldn't cook. After work, I went to a small restaurant in the night market near my home and ordered a plate of screws, a small cold dish and a bottle of beer. This is a great pleasure. At that time, because of eating takeout continuously, my health was greatly hurt, and even my holidays were affected and became irregular.
Fortunately, our store later expired, and the three people also terminated their cooperation. Just have free time, you can cultivate your self. This is the story about Jade's entry into business when I graduated from college.
Then two years later, I moved to Guangdong, where I was exposed to a larger jade wholesale market. I also bought goods from time to time, and sold them through my colleagues and customers who had accumulated before, until now.
I have always had an entrepreneurial dream about jade. I want to have my own physical store and my own small brand, but it has not been realized so far.
