How to know and practice Xingyiquan well
Secondly, the composition and characteristics of Xingyiquan and Xingyiquan instruments are introduced. Xingyiquan is a kind of martial arts boxing, which is practical and simple. Most of its five elements and twelve forms practice and seek strength in the form of repeated practice of a technique to meet the needs of actual combat. When there is a certain foundation for practice and finding strength, in order to further adapt to the dynamic situation, you can constantly change your movements and strength. Only by improving the actual combat quality and performance effect can we form a traditional routine. Instruments are the frontier of fist and fist. As long as we understand and master the performance of various martial arts instruments and combine them with the spirit and kung fu in Xingyiquan, we will complement each other, increase our skills and show our unique strength and style in drills and actual combat. Although there are differences between the branches of Xingyiquan, they are basically the same and each has its own strengths. Because the following will explain the technical problems such as routines and strength, the author will introduce Shangpai's unique training methods and theories to the majority of martial arts lovers. Reveal the secrets that people don't reveal and say what people don't say, so as to help future generations learn and improve. 1. five elements boxing's theory of Xingyiquan is based on the theory of internal meridians, yin and yang, and the five elements, and applied according to the principle of "restraining life" of the five elements. As the saying goes: "The split fist belongs to gold, the drill fist belongs to water, the collapse fist belongs to wood, the cannon fist belongs to fire, and the horizontal fist belongs to earth." Five elements boxing is the basis of practicing Xingyiquan, aiming at eliminating diseases, changing people's temperament, practicing techniques and deepening skills. Since we are practicing five elements boxing according to the five elements, we must pay attention to "restraint". Exercise according to the principle of "Golden Water, aquatic wood, Wood as Fire and Fire as Earth". In five elements boxing, practice should be carried out in the order of splitting drill, caving drill, meat cannon and transverse splitting gun, so as to increase work gain and avoid detours. According to the customary order of most exercises, it is gold, wood, water, fire and earth. Reflected in the practice of boxing, it becomes splitting, collapsing, drilling, cannon and horizontal. There will be problems in the reverse order: one is Jin Kemu, and the other is water, fire and soil. There is a cloud in Neijing: "Cutting gold with wood, extinguishing fire with water" was originally practiced for profit, but it must be used "excessively". This kind of training method, which has mutual development and mutual restriction, not only doesn't make sense according to the five elements, but also has unsatisfactory effect of finding strength when practicing. Five elements boxing's movement technique and form are also unique. Its splitting and drilling are obviously different from the general practice. As the saying goes, "Boxing is like an axe, which belongs to gold." If it's called a fist, it's not a palm. When we say "chop", we should have the shape of an axe and the power of an axe. Some people think it is wrong to catch an eagle as a split fist. However, the splitting fist (Figure 3) and catching the eagle (Figure 4) taught by Shang Yunxiang are only the formal differences between fist and palm, which are quite different in essence. The eagle's clapping is the power of the sharp segment, and the fist elbow is the power of the middle segment. The most valuable thing about split boxing is that it goes beyond the general skills and routines of martial arts, and you don't have to hit people's joints. The focus of its splitting force is on the forearm between the fist and elbow. So there is a saying of "chopping off the elbow". Therefore, in terms of techniques, it has a special role and significance, and it has become one of the essences of Xingyiquan, which few people know. As the saying goes: "The shape of drilling fist is like electricity (such as lightning), which belongs to water and passes through the kidney." This pictographic requirement includes both practical technology and fitness piano. Without one, the real value of drilling boxing will be lost. In terms of form and meaning (Figure 5, Figure 6 and Figure 7), the drill boxing practiced by the Shang school not only has the shape of flashing arms and palms, but also has the function of shaking the waist and helping the kidney. Therefore, both the appearance and the internal meaning include the functions of practicing fitness and actual combat, and the benefits are more obvious than other training methods. 2. After the traditional Xingyiquan routine has a certain practice and strength foundation in five elements boxing, it gradually evolved into routine boxing in order to further adapt to the constant changes in dynamic movements and dynamics and improve the actual combat quality and performance effect. Xingyiquan's routines are basically the same in name and routine structure. However, due to the differences in understanding between teachers and individuals, they have their own emphasis on teaching boxing, which will be reflected in different aspects such as physical strength, rigidity and speed. Each traditional routine of Xingyiquan has its own unique characteristics, so when we practice each traditional routine, we must fully understand its action arrangement and technical characteristics, so as to find out its unique "strength" and have a good foundation for practicing this boxing. The practice of routine boxing will make the understanding and application of spirit and strength, qi and strength, quality endurance and skills and methods highly reflected. Therefore, practicing the same traditional routine has comprehensive technical appraisal, and mutual promotion and improvement can be achieved through mutual observation and discussion. Therefore, the predecessors created some routines, which were recognized and passed down to become traditional routines. The first traditional routine of Xingyiquan is serial boxing, in addition to Liuhe Boxing, Bashi Boxing, Twelve Red Hammer Boxing and Miscellaneous Hammer Boxing. In addition, there are five elements of routines and guns, as well as twelve forms of routines and road guns. Monkey-shaped boxing, chicken-shaped tearing handle (generally called four handles) and swallow-shaped boxing in the Twelve Boxing are also routine boxing because of their changeable technical movements. Modern people suffer less from Wushu performance competitions or teaching, so it is understandable that they need to make up some routines themselves. However, it is necessary to explain to students realistically that this is a self-created routine. If the self-created routine does have merit, it will be widely circulated, and there is no need to pretend to be handed down from the predecessors; We can't pass on some traditional unarmed routines and equipment routines of Changquan as traditional routines of Xingyiquan just because a senior has taught us. If you deliberately confuse people, it is a matter of martial arts, and you are willing to be a teacher. 3. As far as the names and special functions of the twelve forms are concerned, we should discard the false and retain the true. Li Luoneng learned ten kinds of mental boxing from the Dragon Gang in Shanxi, namely dragon, tiger, monkey, horse, chicken, swallow, harrier, snake, eagle and bear. In order to make the pictographic meaning more comprehensive, two shapes of "Tuo" and "Tai" were added, making it a twelve-shaped fist that has been handed down to this day. The order is dragon, tiger, monkey, horse, monkey, chicken, swallow, harrier, snake, (Thai), eagle and bear. When various schools of modern Xingyiquan learn and practice the original ten forms of Dai Long List, the training methods and requirements are slightly different, but the goal of pictographic acquisition is the same. Only the two newly added shapes in Li Luoneng, namely "Tuo" and "Tai", have different requirements for practice. Now, according to the view of Shang school's form and meaning, it is divided into the following points: Tuo (using the original word according to tradition) is one of the twelve boxing styles. The word "ao" is a pictophonetic character created by predecessors, which can't be found in general dictionaries. "Ci Yuan" and "Ci Hai" refer to a small sand blowing fish, which has nothing to do with the ups and downs in Xingyiquan. In the old boxing spectrum, it was expressed as "scissors stock". People commonly call it "sesame oil" and "oil vendor". It's taupe, but it's no more than an inch long. Although it has six long legs, it often appears on the surface of stagnant water after rain. The animal world is called a "water tourist", which is an aquatic bedbug, and its scientific name is "bedbug", which is an insect of Insecta Hemiptera. It is just a small insect, floating on the water, making a left-right curve, light and fast, with the essence of floating water. The hand shape of the upper practice is that the thumb and forefinger are open and the other three fingers are curled. This palm shape (Figure 8) imitates the light claws of insects. The way of U-shaped boxing moving forward in left and right curves is to imitate the fast and light movement characteristics of U-shaped boxing floating on the water. Then, through the strength training of turning around, we can achieve the practical skills required by the boxing spectrum of "three shakes and two spins when there are many people". Because martial arts predecessors have little education, they all dictate with their hearts. When modern people look up Tuo beasts in books, only Tuo can learn water, and it is fierce, so they mistakenly think it is learning. Actually, "catfish" is a Chinese alligator. It's not the smartest in the aquarium, but it's heavy and stupid. Its claws are palm-shaped, and it is not light or sleepy when moving, but it is fierce. It only has its head in the water and its neck slightly above the water. It just swims in a straight line, can't float on the water, and won't move lightly around the curve. So what we should learn and practice is "Scissors", an insect commonly known as "sesame oil", not the "catfish" of Chinese alligator. The reason why there are some wrong statements and practices is because people don't understand the purpose of pictographs, and people follow suit and send wrong information. Muay Thai is one of the twelve boxing methods. The word (Tai) is also a pictophonetic character invented by predecessors, which can't be found in general dictionaries. Since I don't know what it is, I guess it is "tapir", "pigeon" and "horseshoe crab". Although someone wrote the word "bird platform", he didn't know what it was. Or it is similar to an ostrich that has to be straight. How can it stand upright? It is also a migratory and mackerel in Bohai Bay, China, which has the ability to protect the tail. These mistakes should be clarified, and the truth should be clarified. In fact, the "Bird Platform" is a young eagle of the short-tailed eagle family, which is usually called "rabbit stork" or "bald-tailed eagle". The Orion raises his young, grinds off his paws and catches rabbits. The wild "bird table" stands on the high branches, often with its head down and tail up, which is convenient for peeping at cunning rabbits and wild birds and catching them (visible in the rural areas of East China and gorgeous North China). This is the unique habit and skill of "Bird Platform"-the ability to hang the tail. We learn its tail-hanging ability by dividing the arm upward (Figure 9), then dividing it downward like its tail (Figure 10), and pushing it forward and upward with the flank. This makes up for the special technique of "direct hit in the ribs and abdomen" that the original ten styles did not have. Xingyiquan is known as "the following 14 strokes can't escape the spirit of the abdomen", which means that the head, shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, feet and left and right are * * * 13, and the hips and tail are 14, which means "the spirit of the abdomen can't escape". "Boxing Classic" said: "It seems that the abdomen is full of yin, as if the bow is full, and the abdomen has been practiced for a long time, and the five elements are stiff and show miraculous effects." Since boxing classics have included it in one of the styles of play, it is necessary to play the role of tendons and abdomen. In fact, only by playing the role of tendons and abdomen can we meet the technical characteristics of Xingyiquan and can hit people up and down, left and right. Mr. Guo and Mr. Shang Yunxiang are short stature, but they have a subtle understanding of Xingyiquan. Both of them are good at abdominal boxing (people call it abdominal boxing), and they are famous in the north and south of the country, inside and outside the Wulin. Therefore, the boxing classics should be changed from "up and down 14 strokes" to "up and down 15 strokes".
