Hengyang Gymnasium has newly installed central air conditioning, equipped with electronic timing and scoring system, large electronic display screen, monitoring and audio equipment, and specially equipped with automatic basketball stand, advanced table tennis table, badminton table and other equipment for the competition. The steel beam structure spans 46 meters and the infield is 880 square meters. It is covered with a wooden floor dedicated to the basketball court. The first floor of the East Hall covers an area of 250 square meters, the third floor 165 square meters and the fourth floor is 280 square meters. There is a south hall in the south, and six rooms of about 300 square meters can be used as facades. There is a North Hall in the north, with 6 rooms of about 300 square meters. 1-4. 5-6 rooms can be used for business, 6 small rooms in the east can be used for business, and 6 small rooms in the southwest are now used as men's and women's bathrooms, changing rooms, warehouses and computer rooms.
On the first floor of Hengyang Gymnasium, there are VIP rooms, athletes' lounges, referees' lounges, journalists' studios and men's and women's dressing rooms. There are four halls in the east, west, south and north for the audience to enter and rest, and there is a parking lot outside the hall. At present, basketball, table tennis, billiards, skating, martial arts, yoga and other sports have been opened.
Hengyang Gymnasium can host large-scale sports competitions and various cultural performances at home and abroad. He has hosted domestic and international sports events such as the China-US Basketball Tournament, Zoje Volleyball Tournament, the National Women's Basketball League and the National Men's Basketball Team A Tour, and organized large-scale cultural performances at home and abroad, which has made great contributions to Hengyang's sports and cultural undertakings and provided a professional and excellent venue for national fitness and enriching Hengyang people's sports and cultural undertakings.
