Ways to avoid "fainting" after bathing:
1 First of all, you must master the bath temperature. The ideal bath water temperature is the same as the body temperature, and 37℃ is appropriate. Bathing time should not be too long, generally 30-40 minutes is appropriate. Taking a bath for a long time will aggravate the fatigue of the elderly and increase the burden on the heart. If you stay in the bathroom for a long time, it is best to put a glass of water next to you and replenish water in time.
Secondly, when taking a bath, the room is filled with water vapor, and the oxygen content in the air will drop. When taking a bath, peripheral blood vessels dilate and blood pressure drops, which leads to insufficient blood supply to the brain, hypoxia and dizziness. Therefore, the bathroom should be equipped with a ventilation fan, smoking is prohibited when taking a bath, and the exhaust fan can be turned on for proper ventilation.
3. Don't take a bath on an empty stomach or when you are hungry. It is not appropriate to take a bath within 30 minutes after a meal. It is best to drink some drinks containing sodium and potassium ions or sugary light salt water when taking a bath or before taking a bath.
Don't stand up immediately after taking a shower. At this time, people with cerebrovascular sclerosis will have insufficient blood supply. After taking a shower, you should not get up too fast and too hard, especially for the elderly, who must take a proper rest and then get up slowly to avoid "fainting".
5. Elderly people with coronary heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, cervical spondylosis, people with weak constitution and children recovering from serious illness should be accompanied when taking a bath. People with coronary heart disease had better take nitroglycerin to prevent angina pectoris. Don't take a bath immediately after you get drunk, or you will be prone to "fainting" and other accidents, such as burns and drowning.
