In fitness activities, "RM" is customarily defined as the load weight that can be repeated a certain number of times. For example, "6 ~ 12RM" means "the weight that can be tried repeatedly or continuously at most 6 ~ 12 times".
The role of RM
1, because the reference frame of anaerobic training is mostly based on the trainer himself, when we do professional discussion on fitness, RM is used as the weight unit to discuss it, which is more extensive than kg directly.
2. With RM, plans with the same goals will provide the same discussion area for different individuals. For example, a friend weighing 72kg weighs 30kg, and another friend weighing 60kg weighs 12kg. Although the absolute weight of the lift is different, the choice and selection of the weight can still be freely communicated.
