The project covers an area of about 240,000 square meters, including about 80,000 square meters of gymnasium construction, 60,000 square meters of sports park, 80,000 square meters of athletes' village and 20,000 square meters of municipal planned roads. The total construction area of the project is about 6.5438+700,000 square meters. The construction of Guangzhou New Gymnasium includes: main stadium, practice hall, mass activity center, administration building, restaurant, central energy center, parking lot, athletes' village and its affiliated parking lot, commercial facilities, etc. It is a multi-functional comprehensive sports building focusing on sports competitions, taking into account cultural performances, conferences and exhibitions. There is a large circular square about 1500 square meters at the entrance of the main stadium, which is spacious and convenient for the distribution of people. The main stadium has a total construction area of 39,635 square meters, with the maximum longitudinal span160m and the maximum lateral span110m. There are 24 boxes with a size of (24-65,438+06 square meters) and 65,438+00065,438 seats. The training hall has a total construction area of 194 12 square meters, a longitudinal span of 15 1.5 meters and a transverse span of 70 meters. Equipped with sports practice area, swimming pool, basketball court, pre-match warm-up room, science and technology museum for sports information and academic exchange and other functional supporting facilities. The mass activity center has a total construction area of 9048 square meters, with a longitudinal span of140m and a transverse span of 30m. There are sports and entertainment venues, comprehensive fitness venues and related sports and entertainment business districts in the museum. Guangzhou New Gymnasium ingeniously combines the design concept of people-oriented and returning to nature. The three gymnasiums are all designed by sinking, and most of them are built underground, which not only facilitates the traffic organization for tourists to enter and leave, but also puts the buildings in the looming and poetic nature and blends with the beautiful ecological environment of Baiyun Mountain. The whole building embodies many technical and design ingenuity, including flexible and diverse seating organization forms, multifunctional intelligent buildings, difficult, novel and beautiful roof structures, and novel and comfortable air conditioning design. The construction of the museum is the first in China to adopt the mode of joint investment by the government and enterprises, and the enterprises are responsible for the overall construction and management.
