As one of the landmark buildings of Changchun Gymnasium, Changchun Wuhuan Gymnasium was used as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies, short track speed skating and figure skating during the 6th Asian Winter Games. In order to welcome the Asian Winter Games, the Fifth Ring Gymnasium in Changchun increased the investment in venue equipment, and newly purchased facilities such as ice dumping trucks and photoelectric timers made in the United States, which fully met the standards for hosting the Asian Winter Games.
