When it comes to "scraping bones to cure poison", people will think of Guan Yu and Hua Tuo according to their thinking inertia. In fact, the doctor who "scraped" Guan Yu was not Hua Tuo, but another person.
Scrape the toxins off the bones.
It is to scrape the venom deep into the bone with a knife to achieve the purpose of treatment. Historically, Guan Gong used scraping to cure wounds, and later used scraping to treat poison, which was a metaphor for a strong-willed person.
According to Xiangyang Records, Hua Tuo is a famous Guan Yu in Shu. The seventy-fifth time was described as follows: the general refused to withdraw when he saw the crowd, and the sore had not healed, so he had to seek medical treatment everywhere. Suddenly, one day, someone came to the village by boat from the east of the river. Self-proclaimed real name, person, surname Hua, name Tuo, word Tiangong. Because General Wen Guan is a world hero, he was shot by an arrow, so he came to treat the disease. After drinking a few glasses of wine, he still played chess with Ma Liang and held out his arm for Tacitus to chop. Tacitus is the knife that cuts the meat until the bones turn green; Treat the bone with a knife until there is a sound. The basin was full of blood. Cure the poison, apply the medicine and sew it up. There is also a poem by Luo Guanzhong: "Treatment should be divided into internal medicine and surgery. There are few wonderful arts in the world. God is weak and only a general, and a good hand can cure Hua Tuo. "
Is Hua Tuo the doctor who gave Guan Yu "curettage and poison treatment"? A short whip with a ring at one end that can be held.
According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao suffered from head wind disease. "Every time he has a headache, his head will faint." Repeated treatments failed. I heard that Hua Tuo's medical skill was superb, so I sent someone to invite him. After Hua Tuo's treatment, Cao Cao's condition was effectively alleviated, but it could not be eradicated. In order for Huatuo to treat himself anytime and anywhere, Cao Cao asked Huatuo to be his own doctor. Unexpectedly, Hua Tuo was unwilling to become rich and famous, and insisted on going home, so he took time off to go home on the grounds of "seeking repayment". During this period, Cao Cao told him to go back many times, but Hua Tuo refused on the grounds that his wife was ill. Cao Cao was very angry. In the thirteenth year of Jian 'an, he sent someone to investigate and found that Hua Tuo's wife was in good health, but she was not sick at all. So he arrested Hua Tuo and ordered her to die. Soon, Cao Chong, Cao Cao's beloved son, became seriously ill and died young because he couldn't find a good doctor. Cao Cao sighed and said, "I regret killing Hua Tuo, so this son died."
It can be seen that Hua Tuo died in the thirteenth year of Jian 'an, that is, in 208. Guan Yu's "bone scraping and poison treatment" incident occurred in the twenty-fourth year of Jian 'an, that is, 2 19 years. At this time, Hua Tuo had died for eleven years, so it was impossible to "scrape" Guan Yu.
Since Hua Tuo didn't contain Guan Yu's bones and cure his poison, who did? A short whip with a ring at one end that can be held.
It turned out that in order to make his medical skills successful and benefit future generations, Hua Tuo taught his disciples his medical skills and secret recipes accumulated for many years without reservation. Among them, Wu Pu of Guangling and Fan A of Pengcheng are the two most representative famous doctors among Hua Tuo's disciples. The two disciples have their own learning, their own strengths and their own achievements. Upp mainly studies Huatuo's health, disease prevention and fitness; Fan A, on the other hand, studied acupuncture and surgery with Hua Tuo, and wrote Hua Tuo Biography, which made great achievements.
According to "Biography of Hua Tuo in Shu Wei" and "Biography of the Three Kingdoms", the treatment methods of doctors who used to treat Guan Yu's bone poison and the suggestion of using Mafeisan before operation are indeed well recorded in "Biography of Hua Tuo". There is no doubt that he is Fan Yi, Hua Tuo's disciple. Hua Tuo is known as a "magic doctor" because of his superb surgical skills, and his deeds of operating on patients are widely circulated among the people. Some of these deeds are about him and others, such as "scraping bones to cure poison", which was originally his apprentice Fan A's business, but became attached to him because of people's love and reverence for Hua Tuo.
