The lion and the mouse

When a lion fell asleep, a little mouse began to run around him. This soon awakened the lion. He was so angry that he caught the mouse with his claws.

"Please forgive me," cried the little mouse. "Maybe I can help you one day."

The lion was amused by these words. He thought, "How can this little mouse help me?" However, he raised his paw and let him go.

A few days later, the lion was trapped in a trap. The hunters wanted to take him to the king alive, so they tied him to a tree and went to look for a carriage.

Just then, the little mouse passed by and saw the sad lion. The little mouse came up to him and quickly bit the rope. "Although I am very young, I can help you," said the little mouse.

The lion fell asleep, and a mouse climbed up and down beside him, which soon woke the lion. The lion was very angry and caught the mouse.

"Give me a break," begged the mouse. "Maybe I can help you one day." The lion thinks it's funny. He thought, "How can this little mouse help me?" But he raised his paw and let him go.

Soon, the lion was trapped in a trap. The hunters wanted to capture the lion alive and give it to the king, so they tied the lion to a big tree and went to find a carriage.

At this moment, the mouse passed by and saw the desperate lion. He went over and chewed the rope quickly and said, "I am small, but I can help you."
