Hangzhou 1
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and an important economic, cultural and tourist center in China. Hangzhou has a long history and splendid culture, and is known as a paradise on earth. The competition venues in Hangzhou are mainly concentrated in Huanglong Sports Center, Olympic Sports Expo City and Qiantang Roller Skating Center.
Huanglong Sports Center is the core area of Hangzhou Asian Games, including Huanglong Stadium (opening and closing ceremonies), Huanglong Sports Center Swimming Pool (water polo), Huanglong Sports Center Swimming Jumping Hall (diving), Huanglong Sports Center Tennis Court (tennis) and other venues.
Olympic Sports Expo City is the main urban area of Hangzhou Asian Games, including the main stadium (track and field), gymnasium (basketball), swimming pool (swimming), tennis center (tennis) and Guo Bo squash court (squash).
2. Ningbo
Ningbo is an important port city along the eastern coast of Zhejiang Province and one of the earliest cities in China that opened to the outside world. Ningbo has a profound marine culture and commercial atmosphere, and is known as the Oriental Port Capital. The competition venues in Ningbo are mainly concentrated in two areas: Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Center and Xiangshan Asian Sailing Center.
Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Center, located in Beilun District, Ningbo, is the largest professional beach volleyball venue in China and will host beach volleyball events. Xiangshan Asian Sailing Center, located in Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, is the largest sailing base in China and will undertake sailing projects.
There are other scattered competition venues in Ningbo, such as Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium (handball), Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Swimming Pool (synchronized swimming), Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Hockey Field (hockey) and Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Football Field (football).
3. Wenzhou
Wenzhou is an important city in the south of Zhejiang Province, and also a famous private economy and commercial capital of China. Wenzhou has a unique geographical environment and humanistic customs, and is known as the Little Switzerland of the East. The competition venues in Wenzhou are mainly concentrated in two areas: Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center and Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center.
Wenzhou Dragon Boat Sports Center, located in Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, is the largest dragon boat sports base in China and will undertake dragon boat projects. Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center, located in ouhai district, Wenzhou, is the largest comprehensive gymnasium in Wenzhou.
4. Jinhua
Jinhua is an important city in central Zhejiang, and also a famous cultural city and commercial capital of China. Jinhua has a long history and rich human resources, and is called Cultural Jinhua. The competition venues in Jinhua are mainly concentrated in two areas: Zhejiang Normal University and Jinhua Sports Center.
Zhejiang Normal University, located in Wucheng District, Jinhua City, is the largest comprehensive university in Zhejiang Province, including East Stadium (football) and West Stadium (hockey) of Zhejiang Normal University. Jinhua Sports Center, located in Wucheng District, Jinhua City, is the largest comprehensive sports venue in Jinhua City.
5. Shaoxing
Shaoxing is an important city in the north of Zhejiang Province, as well as a famous historical and cultural city and wine town in China. Shaoxing, known as Venice of the East, has a profound cultural heritage and unique waterscape. The competition venues in Shaoxing are mainly concentrated in one area: Shaoxing Baseball Cultural Center.
6. Huzhou
Huzhou is one of the five co-hosting cities of Hangzhou 19 Asian Games. It is located in the north of Zhejiang Province, at the junction of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, with Jiaxing in the east, Hangzhou in the south, Tianmu Mountain in the west and Taihu Lake in the north. Huzhou is an ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of more than 2,300 years. There are many natural landscapes and historical and cultural landscapes, such as Moganshan and Nanxun Town.
