Alibaba Xixi Park, also known as Taobao City, is the headquarters of Alibaba Group, a well-known Internet company. Located at No.969, Wen Yi West Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou (the intersection of higher education), Wuchang Street, the core area of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City.

Binjiang Higher Education Park is located in Puyan Town, Binjiang District, Hangzhou. Located on the south bank of Qiantang River Bridge, opposite to Pagoda of Six Harmonies and Jiuxi, famous scenic spots in China, it is located in Puyan Town, Binjiang, Hangzhou.

2, the environment is different

Alibaba Xixi Park is east to Chang 'er Road, south to Innovation Road, west to Higher Education Road and north to Wen Yi West Road, with a planned total area of 260,000 square meters. The first phase of the project consists of eight single buildings and two parking buildings, including the basic facilities for daily office and leisure such as staff main office area, canteen, gym, lecture hall and film and television screening hall, with a total construction area of about 290,000 square meters. The design of the main building is led by Japanese designer Kengo Kuma.

Binjiang Park, there are six universities in the park, including Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhejiang Police College, zhejiang mechanical and electrical Vocational and Technical College, Zhejiang Medical College, zhejiang vocational academy of art and Zhejiang Commercial Vocational and Technical College, with more than 40,000 teachers and students.

The majors of colleges and universities in the park involve science, engineering and literature, covering medicine, medicine, computer technology, management, electromechanical, business, law, public security, medicine, art and other disciplines, which are highly complementary in literature information collection.

3. Development situation

Alibaba Xixi Park, on February 5, 2008, Ma Yun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd., and Jiang Jun, then Deputy Secretary of Yuhang District Committee of Hangzhou, formally signed a contract to start the construction of Taobao City project. By August 20 13, the first phase of Alibaba Xixi Park was officially completed and unveiled. In just two months, about12,000 employees of Alibaba Group moved into the new park.

With the development of Hangzhou city and the adjustment of land use function structure, the relevant departments decided to relocate some provincial higher vocational colleges in the original urban area to Binjiang New Town to build a provincial higher education park. The land scale of the park is 1.73 square kilometers, and the higher education park is the earliest provincial higher education park in Zhejiang.
