User experience (also known as UX) is the process of designing a useful, powerful, easy-to-use and enjoyable interactive product. The user experience process can be applied to digital products and physical products, such as websites, mobile applications, cars, brochures, fitness equipment and so on.
The user experience process includes three main stages:
1, found
The purpose of the "discovery" stage is to understand the people who currently use or will use the product, what they want to do with the product, and how they feel when using the product. In addition, many other factors will be considered in the discovery stage, such as business needs, market demand, budget and available resources. Through research and discovery, we can understand these factors to ensure that product design can achieve the best experience.
Step 2 design
In the "design" stage, the navigation, usability and user interface of the product are designed according to the user and business requirements and the design principle of the best user experience.
Step 3 Test/feedback
Once the preliminary design is completed, the "test/feedback" phase begins. This stage includes actual user testing of the product to determine which elements in the design work well and which elements need to be improved.
The user experience process is not only suitable for the initial design of products. After the product is launched, it can also bring great benefits to optimize the product and ensure that the product keeps up with the development of emerging technologies.
As time goes by, customers' needs and preferences will change, so your products must keep up with these changes, otherwise you may lose your customer base and thus lose market share.
Don't try to release new products or update features/content according to your "intuition". Humans are born with prejudice. Even if you can only get feedback from one person, it will increase your chances of success.
