Introduction of Zizhuyuan Park:
Zizhuyuan Park is located in Beijing West Third Ring Road, near Baishiqiao in Haidian District, and on the west side of Beijing Capital Gymnasium. Zizhuyuan Park was founded on 1953. Named after the Ming and Qing Temple "Yin Fu Zizhuyuan" in the northwest of the park, it has a unique landscape of bamboo garden in the south of Sichuan and lingshi meadow in Tuerling. The whole park covers an area of 47.35 hectares, of which the water surface accounts for about one third.
Nanchang River and Shuangzi Canal pass through the park, forming a basic pattern of three lakes, two islands, one dike, one river and one canal. It is a natural landscape garden full of secluded places and green bars, with bamboo as the scenery and bamboo as the victory. From July 1 2006, Zizhuyuan Park is free to visit. It is the best place to dance square dance.
