Heihe City is located in the northeast border of China, in the north of Heilongjiang Province, 47? East longitude 42' ~ 5 1 03',124 45' ~12918'.

It is bordered by Yichun City and Suihua City in the southeast, Qiqihar City in the southwest, Nenjiang River in the west, Daxing 'anling in the north and Amur State in Russia in the northeast, with a total area of 68,726 square kilometers.

Heihe City is located at the eastern end of Daxing 'anling and the north of Xiaoxing 'anling. The territory has rolling mountains, vertical and horizontal valleys, high terrain in the northwest and gradually decreasing to the southeast. Due to the change of geological structure and physical weathering, denudation landform, erosion accumulation surface, accumulation landform and volcanic landform have been formed, and the landform characteristics of low mountains, hills, volcanic lava platforms, basins, plains and valleys have been formed.

The topography of the city is northwest to southeast. Influenced by Songliao fault depression, Xunke-Wuyun Cliff fault depression and Sunwu graben, the terrain is uplifted in the middle and depressed on both sides.

The hilly areas in central China are mainly distributed in Duobaoshan, Huolongmen, Baiyun, Maihai and Xifeng Mountain in Nenjiang County, Xinsheng, Handa Banner, Beishihe and No.2 Station in Nenjiang County, Chaoyang and Xing 'an Township in wudalianchi city, Zhengyangshan, Qingxi, Chen Qing, Gunsan and Struggle in Sunwu County, and south of Xunhe Town in Xunke County.
