How to repair the treadmill
Treadmill, as a common fitness equipment, often has various failures, such as motor failure, controller failure, loose belt and so on. The following describes the maintenance methods of several common failures of treadmills.

1. Motor fault maintenance

When the motor of the treadmill has abnormal sound, does not work or the motor speed is unstable, it may be caused by motor failure. At this time, we can try the following methods to repair:

First, check whether the power cord is plugged in and the power supply is normal. If the power supply is normal but the motor still doesn't work, check the motor control panel for faults. If it is faulty, it needs to be replaced.

If the motor stops suddenly instead of slowing down slowly, it may be that the motor control panel is broken. Please contact the manufacturer and ask them to check and repair your machine.

If the motor only stops for a few minutes and then restarts, the overload protection may have been triggered, which is due to excessive use or the motor is too large. As soon as the machine is restored, it will be restarted.

2. Repair the loose steel belt

Usually, belt loosening is a very common treadmill failure. How to fix it? The following are the maintenance steps:

Check whether the belt is loose or has burrs, which will reduce the fit between the belt and the pulley and lead to the belt loosening.

If the belt is loose, try to adjust the tightness of the pulley first. If you want to replace the adhesive tape, you must buy the adhesive tape with the same original specifications as specified by the machine manufacturer.

3. Controller fault repair

When the E/KLOC-0 and/or E2 error code appears on the treadmill display screen, it may be caused by controller failure. At this time, we can try the following methods to repair:

Try restarting the treadmill to see if this will fix the error. If the treadmill still displays the error code, you need to check the control panel for short circuit or other faults.

If the control panel needs to be replaced, you can contact the machine manufacturer for help. After replacing the control panel, complete calibration and testing are needed to ensure that the equipment can work normally.

In a word, treadmill failures are common, but as long as the failures are found and handled in time, the service life of the equipment can be extended and the machine can continue to provide fitness services for us.
