Fitness articles: waist-hip ratio
I have been thinking about a problem recently. I have been exercising or losing weight. To what extent is it over?

According to the coach, fitness is not over, it is a lifetime thing.

But there is a standard anyway. I saw a little sister in a tight undershirt on the subway, and her waist was really like a snake's waist. This is the person with such a thin waist that I really see in real life. The key is that she is not a skinny person, but a bumpy person.

It suddenly occurred to me that a girl's waist can be so thin! This suddenly saw the hope of fitness training.

How to see a person's health?

Here we should mention the waist-hip ratio, that is, waist circumference divided by hip circumference. The smaller the number, the better. In the final analysis, the waist and abdomen fat should be less, and the buttocks should be upturned! Generally, people with high visceral fat index will have a high waist-hip ratio. There is a standard here: the waist-hip ratio of women is higher than 0.85, and the waist-hip ratio of men is higher than 0.9, indicating that we need to be vigilant.

In fact, many people may pay more attention to the body mass index, that is, judging the figure from the height and weight, but in fact this calculation method has certain limitations. We all know that some people are in good shape, but because of their high muscle content, they are heavier. Therefore, judging a person's figure simply from the body mass index is limited, and even prone to judgment errors.

The value of waist-hip ratio is more scientific and will be compared directly from the body shape, especially the waist and abdomen. We all know that the waist and abdomen are easy to accumulate fat, which is also the most difficult place for most people to lose weight. If the fat content in this place is low, then the whole body is healthier.

Six indicators of healthy weight loss:

1, the weight loss in a week should generally not exceed 2 kg, and should not exceed 4-6 kg at most;

2. Ensure that you consume enough calories every day to ensure the minimum energy demand of your body;

3. Ensure a balanced diet to meet the nutritional needs of the body and exercise;

4, moderate exercise, that is, too little exercise has no weight loss effect, and too much exercise will also bring a burden to the body;

5. Keeping a good sleep does not mean that everyone should sleep day and night every day, but should go to sleep when it is time to sleep;

6. Maintain a good mental state and positive emotions and relax every day.
