During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I finished reading Beijing Folding. I have long been famous for this book, but I have no time to read it. As Peng Xiaoliu said, if a person sets a keyword for himself, the subconscious will give a search instruction, and it is easy to pay attention to the content related to this word. In fact, not only that, once people have their own keywords, areas of concern, and encounter some information, people's subconscious will let people analyze the problem from this angle.

? Beijing Folding explores some economic and sociological issues in the form of science fiction.

The novel is a science fiction novel. Science fiction is that it puts forward that space can be folded and the earth can be turned over.

? As an engineering woman, a technical controller, especially a technical controller who has worked in machinery and molds for many years, when reading a novel, my mind folds and flips with the author's description.

That is to say, in that foldable world, the land within the Sixth Ring Road in Beijing is like a piece of paper, or more accurately, like a thick rubber sheet. The chessboard has two sides. One side has 5 million people in the first space, the other side has 25 million people in the second space and 75 million people in the third space. One side of the board faces the sky and the other side turns to the ground. The turnover period of this board is 48 hours, which means that each face faces the sky for 24 hours. But considering that there are 65,438+000,000 people in the second and third spaces arranged on one side of the chessboard, if they are all active, they can't move at all. These two spaces are also operated separately. The first space faces the sky. When people come out for activities, people, things and venues in these two spaces are compressed into a small box to the maximum extent. People in the second space come out for activities, and people, things and venues in the first space are also compressed and packaged to the maximum extent. Those who are surrounded are all sleeping, but they are treated differently when they sleep. The garbage man in the first space only has a small and closed space like a space capsule, and the leader of the first space is a small bed with a fence.

In fact, this technology is not a new technology, and there is no need to wait for 50 years. It is a technology of exchanging time for space, only using the concept of intelligent building or personal home improvement.

I remember that there is an advertisement in CCTV called Singapore Impression City, which describes this new city in the future: there are only beautiful scenery and clear air such as parks and beaches on the ground, and there are driveways and shopping malls underground. There seems to be a trend of spatial stratification, but this has not reached the level of building cities on both sides of the ground.

? In April, there was a very popular post, "A group of post-80s Hong Kong couples transformed 28 square meters into luxury houses", which included this technology. A couple bought a 28-square-meter house in the center of Hong Kong, but they want to realize five functions in this house: a home theater, a gym, a big kitchen, a full-size bathtub and plenty of storage space. These seemingly impossible wishes have been solved by exchanging time for space.

Let's look at a picture from the original text and see how this is achieved.

When guests come, the storage room can be turned into a home theater.

When the bathtub is not used, it can also be used as a sofa, which is a guest room for guests to stay in.

You see, isn't this just a small-scale space folding? Isn't this a simplified version of the rotation of the second space and the third space?

As for the problem of how to arrange people and things in the folded space, we can imagine that when we pack things, do we often pack and compress things that are not used very much and put them in an invisible corner, such as under tatami or in an empty warehouse under the bed board?

Finally, the most difficult thing for Beijing to fold is probably that the earth has turned over. Actually, I have a solution to this, too

That is to say, first, make a super-large flat cube reinforced frame, just like the frame used to seal the roof in Gai Lou now, except that this frame is independent, and it is not attached to the pillars rooted in the ground. Instead, several arms of the steel frame extend out at its four sides as supporting and rotating shafts. The upper and lower sides of the cube have the frame of the house, and only the frame of the bottom layer and the ground is connected to fix the house, so that the house on one side will not fall down when it falls down. The roof of the next floor below other floors is a fixed point, and the wall is made into a block structure similar to a shutter. When folding, the wall can gather from the periphery to the middle, shrink to the minimum area, and then insert the whole floor close to the ground and lock it with the lock pin to realize single-sided folding.

Several such artificial terrains are spliced together, and the supporting shaft and turning shaft of the artificial terrains are fixed on the real terrains edge to edge. The effect of rotating the segmented earth through gears and other transmission devices is similar to the flip of shutters.

? In this way, the folding flip in Beijing folding can be realized. Of course, in order to flip more smoothly, it is necessary to reduce the ground force, because the surface and cavity of the reinforced frame are filled with soil bags, and the soil bags are also sealed. Cement is widely used in the normal space where we live now. We can use lighter materials to seal the surface in the foldable and reversible space.

? This is a project implementation plan made by a sentimental woman named' female engineer' for' folding space'.
