The Education and Sports Bureau of Xushui District of Baoding City is the working department of the Xushui District People's Government of Baoding City.

Main responsibilities:

(a) to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations of education and sports, and to be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and guidance of the education system, school-running system, school management system and comprehensive reform of urban and rural education; Implement the strategic position of giving priority to education and promote the reform and development of education and sports in the whole region.

(two) to study and formulate the development plan of education and sports work in the whole region, coordinate the layout of schools and the development of sports undertakings, and undertake the application for the establishment, cancellation and adjustment of schools at all levels within the authority prescribed by provinces and municipalities.

(three) the full implementation of quality education, guidance and promotion of education and teaching and educational scientific research; Responsible for the macro guidance, comprehensive management and services of compulsory education, preschool education, special education, senior high school education, vocational and technical education and adult education in the whole region, and supervise, inspect, evaluate and accept the education work and school-running level in the whole region; Responsible for organizing all kinds of entrance examinations.

(four) responsible for the construction of education and sports system in the whole region, responsible for personnel recruitment, post deployment, education and training, job title evaluation and employment, evaluation and assessment, rewards and punishments; Manage and guide the employment of normal graduates; Responsible for the implementation of the teacher qualification system; Responsible for the training, inspection, assessment, appointment, removal and management of leading bodies and leading cadres of subordinate units and the construction of reserve cadres.

(five) responsible for the overall management of education and sports funds; Responsible for the examination and approval of education and sports infrastructure, facilities, equipment and special plans, as well as financial management, supervision and audit; Participate in the budget and final accounts of the annual education and sports funds in the whole region; Do a good job in planning and statistics; Responsible for the implementation of student financial aid policies and funds at all levels.

(six) to guide the moral education, intellectual education, physical education, aesthetic education, labor, national defense and safety education in schools in the whole region; Responsible for Party building in the education and sports system, and guiding trade unions, the Communist Youth League and women's work; Responsible for the safety, stability and comprehensive management of the education and sports system.

(seven) responsible for the establishment and layout of sports competitions and competitive sports in the whole region; Participate in the planning and implementation of the construction of key sports facilities in this area, and be responsible for the supervision and management of public sports facilities; Strengthen sports public service and promote the construction of diversified sports service system; Supervise and guide the issuance of sports lottery tickets; Responsible for the national fitness work, organize, guide and coordinate major regional sports activities; Responsible for the management, planning, development and utilization of state-owned sports assets;

Overall planning the development of youth sports in the whole region, guiding and promoting youth sports work; Guide the construction of sports managers, coaches and athletes; Responsible for organizing anti-doping work.

(eight) responsible for the language work in the whole region, and formulate the language work plan; Organize, coordinate, supervise and inspect the implementation of norms and standards for Chinese and minority languages; To guide the promotion and testing of Putonghua; Responsible for the standardized management of Chinese characters in society.

(nine) to undertake other tasks assigned by the district party committee, the district government and the higher education administrative department.
