In 200 1 year, villagers' committees and party branches were formally established in Dong Xiaoying Village, Shangzhuang Township, Haidian District. In 2003, it was renamed as Dong Xiaoying Village, Shangzhuang Town, Haidian District due to the establishment of the town.
