Caliper method
Subjects should wear vest shorts or shorts. The experimenter holds sebometer in his right hand and opens the half-shaped test arm. The thumb and forefinger of the left hand hold the skin of the measured part and lift it. When pinching your thumb and forefinger, keep a proper distance between them, so that you can pinch the skin, including subcutaneous tissue, but don't lift the muscles in this position. In order to test whether levator muscle can make the subjects actively contract the muscles in this area. When you stop, your muscles will slip. Then clamp the opened sebometer at a distance of 1cm from the finger pinching position. Release the handle of sebometer with the finger of the right hand, read out the value of the pointer and record it. The measurement should be repeated twice for each part.
