The 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from August 30th to September 6th, and the second team of China Women's Volleyball Team will play in this tournament. On August 28th, China Volleyball Association announced the list of 14 athletes.
A total of 14 teams participated in the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, which were divided into four groups: A, B, C and D. First, a single round robin was played in the group. China women's volleyball team was divided into Group D, along with Kazakstan, Hongkong China and Philippine.
Group A includes Thailand, Australia and Mongolia, Group B includes Japan, Iran and India, and Group C includes South Korea, China, Taipei, Viet Nam and Uzbekistan. Competition rules and scoring methods:
1, Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D will play a single round robin first, and the top two in the group will advance to the quarter-finals. Then the top two of Group A and Group C combined into Group E, and the top two of Group B and Group D combined into Group F, and entered the semi-finals to play round robin. The top two in groups E and F advanced to the semi-finals. According to the single-defeat elimination system, the cross semi-finals will be held directly. The winning team in the rematch will advance to the final for the championship, and the losing team will enter the third place for the championship.
2. Scoring for group match and rematch: 3- 1 win 3 points, 3-2 win 2 points, 2-3 lose 1 point, 1-3 lose 0 point. The ranking determines the ranking and ranking in the order of victory → integral →C value →Z value.
