What the flywheel should pay attention to is its material and weight. Materials are generally divided into iron and aluminum. Looking at the market, most flywheels are made of iron, and more advanced flywheels will use aluminum metal to design flywheels.

1. Resistance brake
The resistance brakes are all rotary bicycles made of cast iron. Most spinning bikes use friction to form resistance and braking, but it will inevitably produce some noise, which will easily cause the wear of the resistance wheel, and the gasket material used for friction is also very important. Generally speaking, there are several materials: the materials of brake pads are divided into rubber, wool felt and leather. Rubber gaskets are cheaper and can achieve the same effect, but they are harmful to spinning bikes. Long-term use is easy to form some scar lines on spinning bikes, which is not recommended. Needless to say, genuine leather is advanced, but they are all consumables and need to be replaced regularly. The resistance brake is made of cast iron spinning bike, so we must pay attention to maintenance problems. Spinning bike is very easy to sweat, to avoid rust of iron products.
2. Magnetic control system
This braking resistance system design should be regarded as the latest control mode in the industry at present.
The magnetic control system uses the contact surface between magnet and aluminum metal to produce so-called eddy current forming resistance. The larger the contact area, the greater the resistance caused by eddy current. This braking resistance method will not produce any debris caused by friction, and no matter how much resistance is adjusted, there will be almost no friction sound between the spinning bike and the brake pad when pedaling, and the operation is quite smooth.
Some manufacturers design magnetic control systems with magnets and iron spinning bikes, which can produce similar effects.
