Tianjin No.21 Middle School was formerly a French-Chinese school. It has been 1 10 years since it was founded in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty (1895).
Guangxu 2 1 was founded by French ambassador to China and consul general in Tianjin. At the beginning, it was a French school, which only accepted children from China and trained people who were familiar with French. 1902 was renamed Ministry of Industry and Information Technology School. 19 16 school building was expanded in our school site and renamed as fahan school. Although it has been renamed several times, it has always been under the French Ministry of Industry.
After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), two private secondary schools merged into French-Chinese schools, which were taken over by Tianjin Municipal Government 1952 before the establishment of public schools and renamed as Tianjin No.21 Middle School.
The school has a fine tradition of anti-imperialism and patriotism, and many enthusiastic young people have left a glorious page in the history of anti-imperialism struggle in Tianjin.

No.21 Middle School is located in Heping District, Tianjin Political and Cultural Education Center, adjacent to the largest Catholic Church in North China.
