The Great Wall in Beijing and Hebei Province is mostly of masonry structure, which is the best preserved section of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty. With the increasing number of tourist development sections, man-made damage is becoming more and more serious. According to the survey results of the Great Wall organized by the Great Wall Society of China in 2002, apart from the recently renovated Hushan Great Wall in Dandong, there are man-made damages to varying degrees from the Old Longtou Great Wall in Shanhaiguan, the Jinshanling Great Wall, the Simatai Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall, the Badaling Great Wall and the Juyongguan Great Wall.

In view of this situation, in March 20 14, a graffiti area was set up in the north shop on the west side of Mutianyu Great Wall 14 enemy building in Huairou District, Beijing. Now it is full of signatures and messages from various tourists. It is reported that as one of the victims of disfigurement, Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area has been looking for ways to remove the lettering on the Great Wall. Although the scenic spot has taken corresponding measures to discourage and stop tourists, it still can't completely put an end to this phenomenon, and it has never completely cured this stubborn disease. "Since tourists like graffiti, we should develop it as a landscape and set up a graffiti area. According to the person in charge of Mutianyu Great Wall, a graffiti area has been laid in the north of the west side of the 14 enemy building, and two graffiti areas will be added in due course in the No.5 and 10 enemy buildings for tourists to sign as a souvenir. At the same time, the scenic spot should consider setting up an "electronic graffiti wall" at an appropriate time and place to satisfy the "graffiti" desire of some tourists.

Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District, Beijing, 73 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. With a long history and splendid culture, it enjoys the reputation of "Great Wall of Wan Li, unique Mutianyu" at home and abroad. There are many mountains in the scenic area, and the vegetation coverage rate is over 90%. With a total length of 5,400 meters, the Great Wall is the longest Great Wall in China at present, and it is also one of the six famous scenic spots in Beijing/KLOC-0, and a national AAAAA-level tourist area.

Mutianyu Great Wall was supervised by Xu Da, the general of Zhu Yuanzhang, on the site of the Northern Qi Great Wall in 1368, which is the essence of the Great Wall in Wan Li in the Ming Dynasty. This section is adjacent to Gubeikou in the east and Juyongguan in the west. It has been a military hub for defending Gyeonggi since ancient times. There are famous landscapes such as Zhengguantai, Dajiaolou and Yingfei, and the wall of the Great Wall is well preserved, which can better reflect the ancient charm of the Great Wall.

There are first-class cable cars in the scenic area, and projects such as China Dream Stone City and Shibeide Slide have been developed, forming an organic combination of Great Wall culture, stone culture and sports fitness and entertainment.
