Is it normal to feel sore when practicing Yijinjing?
This is normal. I also practiced Yijinjing for a while, and then I stopped practicing after surgery for a while. The purpose of Yijinjing is to relax the meridians, so there may be some "non-mainstream" when practicing, and muscle soreness is normal. My upper body ached at that time, but I felt very comfortable because I knew my body would get better and better.
