The middle school affiliated to Shanxi University is a provincial model middle school, which was founded in 1955. The middle school affiliated to Shanxi University was formerly the school for children of cadres in Shanxi Province, which was merged from Taihang Military Region and Taiyue Military Region and moved to Taiyuan. 1963 was designated as a provincial key middle school. By the end of 20 14, the middle school affiliated to Shanxi University has a building area of 80,000 square meters, with 242 faculty members and more than 3,000 students.
Second place: Taiyuan No.5 Middle School
Taiyuan No.5 Middle School, referred to as "Taiyuan No.5 Middle School", is located in the middle section of Qingnian Road, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, adjacent to Yingze Park, and is a model high school in Shanxi Province. Founded in 1906, it is one of the first key middle schools in Shanxi Province. August 20 14 official website shows that the school covers an area of 43,000 square meters with a total construction area of over 40,000 square meters. The school has 240 faculty members, 46 classes and more than 2,600 students.

Experimental middle school is the only provincial-level key middle school and provincial-level demonstration high school directly managed by the Provincial Department of Education in Shanxi Province, and it is also the only middle school in Shanxi Province with the qualification of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools approved by the Ministry of Education. Experimental middle school was founded in 1882, formerly known as Lingdetang Academy.
Fourth place: Jincheng No.1 Middle School
Jincheng No.1 Middle School is the first batch of key middle schools and demonstration high schools in Shanxi Province. Its predecessor was Shi Chong Middle School founded by patriot Mr. Ma Jun in 1929. 1945, Taiyue No.2 Middle School was founded by Taiyue Military Region and Taiyue Administrative Office, and was renamed as Jinyu Middle School that year; 1949 After the establishment of Shanxi Provincial People's Government, it was renamed Jincheng Middle School in Shanxi Province; 1952 was renamed Jincheng No.1 Middle School in Shanxi Province; 1985 was named Jincheng No.1 Middle School. Fifth place: Xinzhou No.1 Middle School
Xinzhou No.1 Middle School, referred to as Xinzhou No.1 Middle School for short, is one of the first batch of key middle schools in Shanxi Province, and its current address is located in Heping East Street, Xinzhou City. Since the founding of the school, we have been constantly reforming and innovating to build a "subject-oriented education" model, with advanced educational concepts, excellent teachers, excellent teaching facilities, distinctive school-running characteristics and leading teaching quality, which has won wide acclaim from the society.
Sixth place: Kangjie Middle School in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province
Kangjie Middle School, founded in April 1945, was originally named as "the fifth branch of Taiyue Administrative Cadre School in Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region". At that time, Comrade Chai Zemin, secretary of Taiyue District Committee, was appointed as the first party secretary, and Commissioner Jin Changgeng was appointed as the principal. The school was renamed Taiyue No.5 Middle School, Jinnan Middle School and Public Yuncheng Middle School successively, and was named "Shanxi Middle School" by Shanxi Provincial People's Government in May of 1952 and 1 2000 to commemorate Jia, the earliest producer, outstanding revolutionary and educator in Jinnan. 1953 was confirmed as one of the six key middle schools in the province by the provincial education department. 1954 was approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the 30 key middle schools in China.
Seventh place: Shanxi Modern Bilingual School
Shanxi Modern Bilingual School is a fully enclosed boarding school approved by Taiyuan Education Bureau 1999 and invested by Taiji Group1800,000 yuan. After the Northern School, Taiji Group acquired the emerging school and founded the Southern School. Therefore, modern bilingual schools in Shanxi are divided into north and south schools. 20 17 10 north-south merger, moving north to south.

Eighth place: Linfen No.1 Middle School
Linfen No.1 Middle School was founded in 1896, formerly known as Jinshan Academy. On the basis of Jinshan Academy, it was expanded to Pingyang Middle School, and 19 13 was renamed Provincial Sixth Middle School. 1934 was renamed Linfen Middle School. 1950 was officially named Linfen No.1 Middle School in Shanxi Province. 1980 was recognized as the first batch of key middle schools in the province. In 2004, it was recognized as the first batch of demonstration high schools in the province. In 2008, it was recognized as "Shanxi Senior High School New Curriculum Experimental Base School" by the Provincial Department of Education. There is a public-run civilian-aided ordinary middle school, Pingyang Middle School. 20 16 decided by the meeting of the municipal party Committee and municipal government to integrate the resources of Linfen No.5 primary school and Linfen No.1 middle school, cancel Linfen No.5 primary school and Linfen No.1 middle school, and establish Linfen No.1 central school.
Ninth place: Changzhi No.1 Middle School
Changzhi No.1 Middle School was founded in 19 12, and 1952 was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in Shanxi Province. The school is located at No.57 Jiefang West Street, Changzhi City, in the main urban area of Luzhou City, adjacent to century avenue, with a total area of about 60,000 square meters. Office buildings, teaching buildings, libraries, science and technology museums, student canteens, staff canteens, student apartments, sports grounds, leisure and fitness places are all available, and bookstores, shops, banks, communications, hospitals and other service outlets in the area where the school is located are complete, with convenient transportation, far from downtown and complete facilities.
Tenth place: Datong No.1 Middle School
Datong No.1 1 Senior Middle School, referred to as Datong No.1 Middle School for short, is a public complete middle school headed by Datong Education Bureau, the first batch of key middle schools in Shanxi Province, and a demonstration high school in Shanxi Province.
The school was founded in 19 13, named "Shanxi Provincial Fourth Normal University". 19 17 was renamed as "Shanxi Provincial Third Normal School", 1934 was renamed as Shanxi Provincial Datong Normal School, 1972 was the same as Datong Normal School (formerly Datong).
