Carbohydrate content of rice
Rice refers to the energy generated by the weight of raw rice, because if the raw rice is put differently and the amount of water added is different, the energy of one or two cooked rice will be somewhat different. For example, some rice may have less water, but more rice will have higher energy, and some rice will have lower energy if it has less water.
Carbohydrate consists of three elements: carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Because the ratio of hydrogen to oxygen is two to one, which is the same as water, it is called carbohydrate.
The main food sources of carbohydrates are sugar, grains, fruit food sources, dried fruits, dried beans, root vegetables and so on. 50% to 60% of people's daily calories should come from carbohydrates.
