Is high-intensity interval training really effective in reducing fat?
You should have heard that high-intensity intermittent exercise (HITT) has a good effect on reducing fat, which is much better than ordinary low-intensity aerobic exercise. At this time, I want to tell you that this is basically a myth. In fact, high-intensity intermittent exercise is not as effective as the legend. Next, I will tell you why.

If the amount of training is equal, it will consume about the same amount of calories as normal low-intensity aerobic exercise, which is studied. Although high-intensity intermittent exercise has no special effect on reducing fat, I occasionally do this kind of training myself.

First of all, it saves time. If I want to consume the same amount of calories, jogging may take 40 minutes in general, but it takes about 25 minutes to consume the same amount of calories through high-intensity interval training.

Secondly, it can effectively improve our physical fitness. High-intensity interval exercise is very helpful to improve our cardiopulmonary ability. Maybe you have a similar experience. When doing squats or hard lifts, you will feel very breathless if you do it for about 5 or 6 times in a row. Even if your legs are still full of strength, you must rest because of the heart and lungs. This is why I use high-intensity interval training, mainly because it greatly improves my heart and lung function.

Let me do better in retraining. Although high-intensity interval exercise has some additional benefits, I generally don't recommend beginners to try it directly, because such training requires a certain physical and muscle strength foundation. If you are a person who doesn't exercise much, this kind of high-intensity interval training is very easy to get hurt.

Many people don't know, say? High strength? The real intensity is very high. Your training must reach more than 90% of the maximum heart rate in order to be called high intensity. You should be very tired after training, and I will feel sick after training by myself.

I saw someone doing so-called high-intensity interval training in the gym, and as a result, they could even take a picture and make a card after each group, or did someone invent the so-called interval training? Gentle version of TABATA? TABATA is TABATA, and it is also a kind of high-intensity interval training, yes.

But TABATA has its own strict definition, and there is no such thing as a gentle version, just as there is no gentle version in high-intensity training. If it is gentle, it is not called high strength, it only exists; Doing some low-intensity unarmed training, or a combination of aerobic exercise, will not get the benefits of high-intensity training, and the calorie consumption is relatively inefficient.

Finally, I want to tell you again that the focus of fat reduction is the calorie deficit, that is, you consume more calories than you do. It is more important to control your diet. Any exercise can consume a limited amount of heat. No matter what kind of exercise you want to do, it is carried out under your own tolerance.

Finally, does your high intensity interval training meet the requirements for you?
