This is exactly my portrayal of the past year. 202 1 is my rest year, and my main task this year is health. So, this year, I let myself do nothing, leaving only one thing: pick up the children every Friday, cook all kinds of delicious food for him, and send them away on Sunday afternoon. I'm free again. I often say with a smile, this is old.
Accustomed to being busy, suddenly so idle, I didn't adapt at first. I have to find something to do for myself. Why not do something nosy? My understanding is: things that are not important in others' eyes, but beneficial to their physical and mental health.
A year has passed, looking back at what I did:
First, read a good book. I haven't been able to settle down to finish reading a book for many years. "It's best to find a partner in your spare time." When people are quiet, they should study hard, read good books and read classics. The Analects of Confucius is easy to understand after listening to the interpretation version, then reading the paper interpretation version and then reading the original version. "Four Instructions to Fan" is also read in this way. The content of "small window notes" is easier to understand. The paper annotated version is combined with the original electronic version, which is convenient for reading anytime and anywhere. I feel very tired when I can't understand these books. Read some Lin Qingxuan's essays from time to time to adjust. Listening to books while doing housework or driving, listening to Zeng Guofan's family instructions, the wind and Zhang Run are in the right place, and there are six floating lives. Who knows what he is thinking, and so on. Classics last forever. These books have great vitality and will benefit for life after reading them.
Second, watch movies. Watch documentaries and historical films, learn knowledge, increase knowledge and enrich yourself. Many movies need ⅴ LP to watch, so I registered as a member and chose a historical film when I wanted to see it. My husband watches it with me at home, and I watch it by myself when he is on a business trip. On weekends, the three of us watched together, recalled the history and discussed the plot together, which also increased the children's historical knowledge and interest in learning. Watching documentaries with children during holidays has increased my knowledge and broadened my horizons. Because of the epidemic, although we can't go out for a walk, we can watch the world at home. As the saying goes, "Where the footsteps can't reach, the eyes can reach."
Third, keep exercising. During summer vacation and weekends, I go for a walk with my friends in the morning and evening, go for a walk, play ball games and ride bikes in various parks. When the children are not at home, I walk with my husband at night. When the weather is bad or I am alone at home, I step on the treadmill and do aerobics at home. Although I want to gain weight, I can't increase it indefinitely. Therefore, the heart can't be idle, or it will become a middle-aged "greasy aunt" after a long time.
Fourth, start practicing calligraphy. I made up my mind to practice calligraphy from school. I bought copybooks over and over again, but I never practiced them completely. Sometimes, even before I start practicing, copybooks are shelved and finally classified as waste. This time, I practiced calligraphy with my friends, and even found that practicing calligraphy can forget me. Originally, I had a 30-day plan, but sometimes I practiced for four or five days, and I still thought about how to write each word after practicing. This state really surprised me. Therefore, it is indeed the best choice to meditate and practice calligraphy. I hope I can stick to it for a long time, and then send some old posts after the font is stable.
Fifth, learning floral tea art, although I know a little about these things before, I have not studied them systematically, and my practical skills are also lacking. I'm limited to entertaining myself. I have studied and practiced everything from Chinese flower arrangement to western flower arrangement to bouquet packaging. My work was seen by a friend, and I asked the runner to send it to her at once, and my heart was full of sense of accomplishment. Give someone a rose, and your hand will smell fragrant. In the future, you can not only send flowers to your friends, but also often send flowers to yourself, for no other reason than to please yourself. As for tea art, it was rarely completely operated before. With the encouragement of my teacher, I finally stopped worrying about scalding and made my own tea, which is a model. This kind of tea is not just tea, but a kind of mood, a sense of ceremony, and it feels different.
Sixth, photography flowers and vegetables. This is a project that doesn't look like a mashup, but it is a project that I arrange for myself almost every week. About every Thursday, I will go to the garden to pick some fresh vegetables for spare, and I will also go to the countryside to enjoy the pastoral scenery and take some photos I like. There are both fireworks and poetic distance, which can soothe my soul. I often think that if one day I become a vegetable seller, I must let the women who buy vegetables buy flowers at the same time. I imagine that the woman with a dish in one hand and a flower in the other will be beautiful and satisfied.
Seven, learn food. "Food is the most important thing for the people". Nowadays, "food" is no longer based on solving the problem of food and clothing, but on appearance, color, fragrance and taste, which is very difficult for a person like me who can only cook rice. Moreover, my husband wants to lose weight and control sugar, I want to gain weight and nutrition, and my children want to grow nutrition. The three of us should look after each other. Fortunately, the network is developed now, and through continuous study and practice, we can always make innovations. Every time a new product comes out, I feel particularly good. Don't forget to carefully set the scene and take mouth-watering food photos.
Take a nap in the afternoon. A few years ago, I was busy in the afternoon, so taking a nap was a luxury wish. Sometimes I lie down immediately, but my heart is uneasy. Now, when I am free, I can take a nap every day. "It's safest to sleep outside." I feel really different in spirit. Gradually, I developed a habit, a regular life, a regular routine and a healthy body.

In short, I did a lot of meddling in 202 1, but these meddling are also important things in my plan. Idle people meddle, but not meddle. They have enriched my life and kept me full in my spare time.
Jia Pingwa said: "Being alone is a person's pleasure …" I said that being alone is quiet, free, spiritual practice, enjoyment and a person's carnival. I have nothing to do. I can sit and lie down whenever I want. I can do anything but nothing.
For the rest of my life, I just want to be an idle person, enjoying the wonderful time on earth with a book, a potted flower and a pot of tea.
