Mimi Mo, played by Sammi Cheng, is a young exchange student in Japan. She meets the up-and-coming pianist Kurokawa, played by Rikiya Kurokawa, and falls in love with him. Kurokawa eventually went to the United States to study music and returned to Japan as a famous musician. Meanwhile, Mimi responded to her depression by eating and weighing more than 300 pounds, but Kurokawa didn't recognize her. Mimi finally meets a fat man (Andy Lau) who helps her lose weight, so that she can fulfill her promise to meet Kurokawa 10 years ago. But then they fell in love. .....
